it looks great, especially for a first timer!

also, i love your avatar.  made me giggle.

and lastly, SCREW IRONING!  i hate it.

I don't like it either (don't tell my iron it's sensitive) but I can't deny the power a sharp, crisp, line has on the finished product.

I've recieved all my bookmarks on the same day (I'm such a lucky dame)!

The first (from the left) is from Reverend_Kayla (and yes I do like it),

the second is from Kiki_eks (Reads: Because sometimes it just feels good to BITCH) I think it feels good all the time,

and the third is from BklynGal (Reads: You say bitch like it's a bad thing) it's never bad!

Here's the envelope and the label from Kiki_eks:

Thanks ladies! I love them all dearly!

Thank you thank you thank you!
Wow, nice job for your first dress!  It's cute.  Also I like the vintage-y fabric!  What's it made of?
It's made of plain 'ole cotton from a sheet I found at the thrift shop. Highly comfortable.

Nice job--I like how the stripes chevron in front where the skirt meets the bodice!

I like it too. I think that was caused by me not paying attention to the pattern's instructions (bad girl, bad!) Thus I had to add the ribbon. All in all it's one of the best mistakes I've made so far.

That dress is cut really nicely.

And I LOVE your avatar!
Aren't those trashy novels just divine?
Congrats on your first dress! It must've been a big step... but it turned out really nicely.
Thanks to Craftster the step was much easier to take.
Love the stripes and the design!

I haven't been brave enough to make a dress yet...

Well I say get out there and try it out! Get a cheap sheet and have a plan to cover any mistakes (*cough* Ribbon *cough*) sweet talk your sewing machine, be nice to your iron, and when out of marking chalk try washable markers (NEVER use pen!)

I've never sewn a dress before but after days of thinking on it, I got off my lazy ass and decided to do it!  I made it from a sheet! The bottom, I used a pattern and the top (not shown) I made a pattern for. I was inspired by a dress from http://www.daddyos.com/

Sorry, I didn't iron it after washing.

I got 2 amazing bookmarks in the post this morning, one from Tracey (darkest faerie) and 1 from shairi (who I think is, NVA though there wasnt a crftster-y name anywhere...)

Sadly I am scanner and camera-less at the minute but I will get pics as soon as possible if not you will certasinly be getting a description.

You're right. I'm sorry I should have put my crasfter name somewhere. I'll remember that next time. I'm glad you like the bookmark!
