i was looking at past swap galleries and they looked like so much fun-would there be interest for one during december/january? and would you guys prefer to have permanent swap partners or have it more sweatshoppe styled? personally, i prefer the sweatshoppe styled one but id be interested in both. would anyone be interested in organizing?
when i think of the circus i always picture circue du soleil or cartoon animals doing tricks. i would love to have a swap where people could exchange circus themed items such as clothing, accesories, or even toys and dolls. what do you guys think? are there any ways youd wish for me to expand on this idea? any interests?
so it seems that a lot of people are really into steampunk, and yet there hasnt been a steampunk swap yet. there was a victoriana swap that looked pretty cool, but i want this swap to be more steampunky. i was thinking that this swap should be 6-8 points, and that the signups should be in november with a two month crafting time period.what do you guys think?
so i know halloween is drawing near, but i think we would have enough time to fulfill this. all you would have to do is make one batch of either homemade halloween themed cookies, or homemade candy (such as chocolate, lollypops, etc) and send it to your partner. simple, right?
i realize i post quite a lot in this forum, but thats because i always have many swap ideas. sorry about that guys
as a little girl ive always loved the ideas of tea parties, and now that im about to be in my 20's, ive decided its about time that i host one. however, it would be nice to have help with the decor/tea/party apparal, and thats where this swap comes in. i think it would be fun to have a swap where not just tea lovers, but tea party lovers could come in and swap tea sets/specialty tea/tea towels/dolls to have a tea party with/tea party clothing/and perhaps alice in wonderland things as well. i saw the tea lovers swap, but i would like this swap to be extra girly, and more reminiscent of childhood than of just tea themed things.
so i know there are a lot of shoe artists out there who design/and or decorate beautiful shoes, and i think it would be cute to have a shoe swap. people can alter shoes by modge podging/covering them up in things/crocheting slippers, etc. what do you think?
well, ive been seeing a lot of christmas swaps and general holiday swaps but i think it would be nice to have a chanuka swap where partners crafted for all the 8 days of chanuka. each memeber would have their own mini gallery within the main gallery, as in the halloween swap, and all the packages would be labeled so that you knew which day/order to open it in. the only thing im not sure about is whether or not the swap should be a themed chanuka swap, such as a green chanuka, kitchy chanuka, etc. what do you guys think? would anyone be interested in organizing?
