1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Disney Swap on: November 12, 2015 03:20:23 PM
It seems like it's time for another one. I've been playing Tsum Tsum and looking at the Disney Japan store and would really love some more Disney stuff. Anyone interested? I'm open for any time frame. I would also prefer not to organize, but will if nobody steps up.

Here's my Disney Pinterest board if you would like some inspiration.
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Inter-faith Winter Holiday Swap? on: October 17, 2015 02:50:03 AM
So I usually see a lot of Christmas swaps around this time, but I am sure there are many people on this website who do not celebrate Christmas but do celebrate different holidays such as Hanukkah, Kwanza, Winter Solstice, Festivus, etc. Perhaps there are craftsters of interfaith families as well. (People who only celebrate Christmas would be welcome as well!)

Partners would not be matched up on their Faiths, but rather on their skill sets and desires. So you may get someone who shares the same holidays as you, or you may not depending on your questionnaire. You could put down multiple holidays and have your partner choose from them if you wish.

The details of this swap would include:a crafted small or medium nicely wrapped gift from your partner's wishlist (doesnt have to be holiday themed), a food item or something that relates to your partner's holiday, and a handmade card pertaining to your partner's holiday.

I think it would be a fun way to spread the holiday cheer, and maybe learn about someone else's holiday/traditions.

Sign-ups could maybe be mid-November?
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Update My Wardrobe Swap? on: October 13, 2015 10:41:14 PM
I was thinking this could be a 5 point swap where the point was to make wearables for your partner. For instance, all clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry. Partners would be matched up by style.
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Halloween Disney Swap? on: September 07, 2015 08:22:25 PM
I've always loved the Disney swaps in the past and since I missed the Darker Side of Disney swap I thought that this could make up for it.
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / I Love Autumn Swap? on: September 07, 2015 12:00:31 AM
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, and there are so many items that you could craft for it. I was thinking this could be a one medium and a small item swap, with the option to craft for more if your partner is into it.

Ideas of things you could craft:
scarves, hats, leaf themed decor, tea mixes, candles, woodland items, Fall holidays

Any takers?
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Halloween Jewelry and Accessory Swap on: September 06, 2015 02:49:47 AM
Would anyone be interested in doing a Halloween jewelry swap where you could make your partner a set of jewelry, hair accessories, scarves, hats, etc?

8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / 3 point Bath, Beauty, and Spa swap (SIGNUP 5/21/12-5/29/12 ; MAIL BY 7/15/12) on: May 21, 2012 09:20:14 PM

Details of the Swap:
This swap is for people who want to relax, feel beautiful, and pamper themselves. There have been multiple bath and beauty swaps in the past, and they were all amazing! This one is like all the others, except that the requirement is 3 points in order to make it low-stress. That being said, if you can spoil please do! Just make sure to talk it over with your partner, and please, please speak on a regular basis! If your partner is unresponsive let me know ASAP!
*You do not need to know how to make soap or handmade cosmetics for this swap-there are plenty of other skills that would be appreciated such as knitted, crocheted, felted, and baked goods. Just pay attention to your partners desires and this swap should go smoothly. Also, please refer to the list of recourses in the following posts.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / embroidered necklace help on: November 26, 2011 09:07:23 PM

10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / post holiday craft for kids swap? on: November 21, 2011 09:21:39 PM
in this swap you would craft a package of items for your partner's kids (or siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, good friend's kids, etc.) based on items they like. it could go along with a theme such as a pirate box, disney, fairytales, whatever, or just items that they would like and want. some ideas of things to make are clothing, toys, room decor, school supplies, soap with cute toys embedded in them--there is a neverending list of fun things people could make! i was thinking it could be about 5 points.
i dont have kids yet, but i have a precious one year old sister who would love a knitted doll or amiguramis, and kids are my favorite people to craft for.
any interest?
