2  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Cardigan with Sugar Skulls on: October 06, 2009 01:17:38 PM

I used tear away stabilizer from Sulk.
I tried not to stitch through the stabilizer since i thought it was a bit to think and to hard to actually tear after.
After I finished I ironed on thin stabilizer.

I just love my "new" cardigan Cheesy

Actually I'm not going to glue them together since I don't have cupboards big enough to store them.... But i think any glue is foodesafe since it really doesn't have to touch the food.

I love the link from Esther Coombs. Fantastic!!! I really gives me more inspiration. I really love old things mixed with new.

I haven't seen it in Bust, but then I'm not a frequent reader;)

Thanks for the comments.

And when you got a little bit of time look at my sisters work.

Three different plates and small shots glasses is all you need to make a fantastic cookie tray in levels:D

I got it all from a charity shop.

Now I'm going to have cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Different bibs for small people
SO easy to make out of spare fabric.
And of course they are reversible.

I've got the pattern for free: http://www.newconceptions.com/free.htm
