23  spiderman charm bracelet and picture marble bangles in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by cowgirl on: July 30, 2005 07:33:06 PM
here's the spiderman charm bracelet made from spiderman shoe charms from Target (also came in batman which I may have to make into a bracelet too!) and plain charm bracelet from $1 section at Target.

now the bangles that I made from cardboard, mod podge, fabric, E6000 and picture marbles (and the white one was just an old bangle)

in case you can't tell in the pics (which you probaly can't), the white bangle is M&M themed, the yellow one fruit themed and the black one plain (I hope you can see that!)

24  willy wonka willy wonka the amazing sharpie chocolatier! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cowgirl on: July 30, 2005 07:25:30 PM
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
Everybody give a cheer!

He's modest, cleaver, and so smart,
He can barely restrain it.
With so much generosity,
There is no way to contain it...
To contain...to contain...to contain...to contain.

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
He's the one that you're about to meet.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka...
He's a genius who just can't be beat.
The magician and the chocolate wiz...
The best darn guy who ever lived.
Willy Wonka here he is!

(don't worry, I don't know those by heart, I got them online  Wink)

anyways...here's my Charlie and the chocolate factory sharpie bag!

^this pic is really bad and makes it look like a square skirt, not a circle skirt.

26  Re: Jordy Bag - Square Bottomed Lined Bag Tutorial in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cowgirl on: July 24, 2005 11:03:13 AM
I made 5 new jordys last weekend. i made two of the american food one.

all of them

the princes jordy that I made from dress up clothes, polka dotted fabric, a silver sharpie and blanket binding. i made this for my friend's little sister whos going to be 4. in it i included a strechy faux pearl necklace and Disney Princess stickers

the american food jordy purse that I made two of (one for me and one for my friend). I love this fabric! In hers I included 2 bottlecap picture marble pins.

the poodle one I made for her other sister whos 10. in it I included a b&v digest and a junior mints box pin

the cake one that I cut out a loong time ago but never sewed. I messed up on a transfer so I covered it up with the felt cake applique

27  clean and organize craft supplies CHECK! picture heavy! in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by cowgirl on: July 09, 2005 09:21:52 PM
Yeah for me! I finally organized all my craft stuff! It took me FOREVER and when a family friend came over and saw the mess I had (boxes of every craft supply I own all strewn out across my room waiting to be organized) while I was in the process of organizing, all she could say was  Shocked "Oh my."  Cheesy

Here's the before pics

I SPY with my little eye....a craft table? can you see it beneath the mess?

more of my craft junk in an enormous pile that I couldn't get to

my fabric stash! colorful, yes! easy to find what I needed when I needed it, no!

my sewing area (at the time in the basement)

and this empty old garage sale armoire. look how empty and lonely it is just sitting there (well, it does have winnie the pooh for comany)....

and (drumroll please).........AFTER PICTURES!!!!

my craft table (gasp! you can actually see it!)

more of my craft table

my jewelry making supplies box that I found in the garage dressed in a hideous maroon color and then revamped with HOT PINK spraypaint!

and inside

my sewing table (I'll probaly sew some black w/ white polka dotted cushions for the chairs sometime)

my sewing is fun table (this is where I keep all my embroidery stuff)

my redecorated armoire (with western stickers from Archie McPhee and other western garb)

the decorations on top

inside on top

my fabric stash

and that's it!!!! thanks for looking!

can anyone tell I've had a lot of sugar tonight?  Smiley

28  Re: teenage mutant ninja turtle sheets...?? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by cowgirl on: July 08, 2005 09:04:01 AM
yeah! I have those too! I so far made a bag out of them

what you can pretty much do anything with them. just use them as fabric and make skirts, bags, pants, anything! you can also make patches and appliques from them.

good luck! be sure to post whatever you make!

29  Sewing is Fun! Table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by cowgirl on: July 04, 2005 03:24:03 PM
I had this really boring ugly 2 drawer table that I've had since I was about 2. So naturally, I painted it. I painted it the cover of my mom's old book Sewing is Fun by Edith Paul. It's a really cute little retro sewing book. I made the banana apron from it. Here it is!
