1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: A Package for the Kids --CLOSED-- Send out by Sept. 30th on: October 01, 2009 02:58:28 AM
Just taking a quick minute here to report that packages have been shipped Smiley  I will message dc #'s tomorrow/today after work. Sorry to have been AWOL a bit.  I have been working a very weird schedule lately, picking up extra hours where I can.  I really enjoyed (loved) crafting for Aria and Levi!  Thank ypu, JanelleJ, for hosting this swap - so when's round two?   Wink

THANKS SO MUCH CRAZYRED! I love EVERYTHING!

You are very welcome Smiley  I'm so happy that you liked it!!

Great package!  That beatles bag is awesome!
Wowweeee  Shocked what a great parcel! good job on the Beatles bag how is the picture put on to the bag?

Thanks you guys!  This purse was my first attempt, though I've made a half dozen since Wink.  The pictures were printed off onto regular paper and applied with my absolute favorite craft supply and secret ingredient to everything crafty -- Mod Podge.  After it had dried completely, I gave it a few more coatings to seal it completely before finishing with the varnish - I was happy with how it turned out Grin

I received my awesome package from EmBem today and hope to have pictures posted this evening after work.  A HUGE thank you to EmBem, it was a fantastic lunch surprise!!! Grin Grin

Just so loving this gallery!!  Those dolls are fabulous and making me a wee bit sad that I can't knit or crochet but a straight line.....

The quilt is gorgeous!!  I love it!

I am finishing up both Levi's and Aria's packages and hope to add the final touches this evening after a birthday party (we'll see how that goes!).  I'm such a nut that I had planned to get them done at the same time Smiley

I wonder if it is just taking longer to get to Alaska? Hopefully we'll know something by Tuesday.

While Alaska is not quite the ends of the earth it does take longer than most....actually for parcel post I received quite quickly Grin (they will tell you at the post office that parcel post will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks Shocked)

I/Lily have received from 1boy1girl1kitty2 and posted pictures of the most beautimous loot in the gallery this morning.  Wonderful package, we just loved it all!!!

That kitty and poppet are just super!!

I apologize for my tardiness in posting - we decided to try one last camping trip of the season and are just back today.

My niece, Lily, received her package from the wonderfully talented 1boy1girl1kitty2 on Saturday and the folks were able to get pictures for me before she hid everything away from her sisters....

Here is Lily wearing her cape and standing next to her goodies...

along with the cape, she also she received some of the yummy play doh - pink and purple, her favorite!! Grin
some awesome mix 'em markers, the cutest John Deer pink camoflauge pouch with 3 memory games and a gorgeous baby quilt & quilted pillow

the hooded cape that we have not been able to get off of her since she opened the package (she even went to sleep with it on Saturday night Cheesy)

a side view of the cape's hood (so, so cute!!!!!)

Thank you for crafting for Lily, 1boy1girl1kitty2 - and for making it such a fabulous package!  We loved it all!!  Perfect!! Wink

My own tastes in music are all over the place & pretty wild Grin and I'm a blues junkie Wink.  Not so much on the country though....took a vacation to Nashville 10 years ago and it totally ruined it for me......I still like the stuff that I liked before, though I don't listen to it anymore, and I'm not familiar with the "new" country.
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Favorite Movie-In-A-Box Swap on: August 25, 2009 11:31:18 PM
OMG!! Shocked  That fish is amazing!!  So adorable!

The Dirty Dancing shirt brings back sooo many memories....(ahh those were the days Cheesy)....fabulous job!!

From CrazyRed -> Nikimac: Those are some awesome grail cups (what did you use to paint them on the glass?), and that Monster's Inc. tray is too cute!

Thank you!  Actually the glasses are not glass at all, they are some unbreakable plastic blend that I can't spell or pronounce, and I used acrylic paint and clear varnish to seal.  The bowl was glass and using the same process, it turned out....not so well Undecided.  The paint definately liked the plastic better Cheesy

crazyred, the Monsters Inc serving tray was awesome (as well those Star wars Pez dispensers), Nikimac it looked like there were some necklaces in the picture of everything but I couldn't make out what they were, am I wrong?

Thanks!!  The Pez were something the universe just decided that Nikimac should have Grin - you know, one of those things that just kinda "fell out of the sky" once partners were assigned.... Wink

I hope that Nikimac doesn't mind, but here's a photo that I took of the Star Wars stuffs....

Star Wars movie poster/domino magnet
Vader was Framed/ceramic tile magnet
TIE fighter/Storm Troopers pendant
