Congrats on hitting the 200,000 milestone!  After lurking here for years (since long before I became a member), I've learned so much about crafting and gained so many ideas from the awesome people on these boards!  Hooray for Craftster!

This is made of win.  And I agree, you definitely get extra points for the punny title.

Wow, that looks fantastic.  And I'm definitely agreeing with people saying they'd do this even if their couch wasn't all clawed up.  I'd love to do this to one of those cheap, plain loveseats from Ikea...

Also, poor kitty  Cry.  I hope she'll get over her loss!  Knowing cats, though, she'll probably just find something else in the house to claw at instead (especially if it's not designed for clawing).
4  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Big Bad Ethan Blanket on: March 08, 2009 08:14:14 PM
Ooh, I really enjoy the colours you used for the blanket.  I hadn't thought about using two different colours knit together, but it seems so obvious now!

I'm working on my own BBBB for my half-brother's newborn son right now.  After making two blankets, I still had yarn leftover, so I thought I might as well do this one as a slightly fancier version.  It'll probably be summer by the time I finish the thing, but maybe they can still use it...  In any case, it's good practice.

Oh my god, that's amazing!  I love Yo Gabba Gabba (and I'm in college!), so this makes me want to take the time to learn to crochet.  Sadly, there aren't enough hours in the day for me to do so now. Cry
