this is so intriguing, I love the color and the design, kudos on getting it to stay together in the end.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / multi-spouted pots. on: June 13, 2009 09:04:27 PM
all right, so by no means am I anything more than a beginner ceramicist.
I've taken half-year ceramics classes as school and this is the stuff i made in ceramics three.
it was the first year that we had actual freedom to make whatever we wanted.

So I started to make multi-spouted pots.

this one is my favorite.  I wish I had had time to make more with a bulbous base but it just didn't happen.

the glaze on this came out a bit weird, it was meant to be green.

I am a bit tired of looking at all of them to be honest but there are so many more things I wanted to try out with different base shapes.  Ceramics four doesn't fit into my schedule next year but I'm hoping to find classes outside of school.

I like the rise up one a lot as well.
and lime green is always a wise choice, it's a fantastic color.

I didn't make the shirt for any specific reason, I just LOVE World/Inferno.
I made a stencil from parchment paper using a stencil from Stencil Punks.
I still need to add the band name underneath, I just have to figure out how I want to do so.

Cutting the stencil was super finicky and the paint came out looking really rough, I will probably make a new stencil using the blank stencil sheets you can buy.
The parchment paper curled, so I taped the entire thing to give it more stability and then cut it out with an exacto knife but it was still not sturdy enough so I just dealt with the flimsiness.

overall, I'm happy with it and I don't think people will be close enough to see the /slight/ sloppiness.
