1  where can I find these -OR- where can I find instructions on how to make them? in Beads: Discussion and Questions by choirgirl on: July 22, 2007 07:51:05 AM

Made these earrings from some beads I got at Joann's. According to the package, the line is "Rustic Accents" and is made by "Horizon Group USA." Alas, hours (HOURS!) of internet searching has turned up no information whatsoever on where I can get more. "Horizon Group" has a website, but it looks like a work in progress because there isn't much content at all.

So then I figured I would try to find out how to make them. Which proved to be equally difficult! From what I can tell, the answer seems to be contained in a book called "Make Wire Beads" by Lisa Van Herik, but this book is out of print (and is $60 on half.com, $40 on amazon.com, even though the list price is $17.95; also, the publisher's website talks about where to order the book, but the link does not allow one to purchase it), the library here doesnt have it, and I am getting very frustrated!

Any ideas?? If anyone has the book, could you at least confirm or deny that the book has what I want before I continue to obsess about it? And if anyone could point out a link to some instructions online, that would be awesome too. And lastly, if anyone knows where I can buy more of these beads, I'd like to know that as well.

THANKS!!!!! Smiley
