1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Fleece dog bed, magenta and polka dots! on: February 10, 2012 05:04:22 AM
First post, yay!

I made a dog bed for my and my boyfriend's first dog. I had no idea dog beds were so expensive when I first started looking at them, so I decided to make my own and really cut down the costs Smiley

I can't post pictures yet, so here are links to the photos:

Here it is, before we got the puppy home...

And here, occupied by its new owner Smiley

I used this great tutorial, which was really easy to follow. The color is a bit off in the last two photos, it really is a nice rich magenta colour rather than red. I found the fleece for just a few euros in the back corner of a fabric store, waiting to be thrown away, but I rescued it Cheesy For stuffing I bought four 0.95 pillows from IKEA and used them, as suggested in the tutorial. Cheap and easy, and the dog loves it!
