1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby booties!! on: July 17, 2008 01:59:03 PM
My friend just had a baby so I thought it would be fun to make some baby booties... My aunt gave me lots of angora so I was going to use that. But then i decided I wanted to try something different. So I went with two colorful yarns instead. I followed the pattern exactly, but the end result was not exactly what I wanted. The booties where a bit boxy. It could have been because I combined yarns and was using two strands. O well. I am still going to give them to my friend.

This picture kinda reminds me of two little boats.

I just made a chain of about fifty and weaved it through so it has a draw string effect.

Please tell me what you think!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Beanie with Bill on: July 13, 2008 09:42:18 PM
I was just browsing the tutorials on Craftster and I saw this really cute hat that was posted there. I followed the pattern mostly... improvising when I either did not completely understand the directions or needed to make a size adjustment. I was a little worried because the hat look a little funny on... but once the bill was added it was super cute! I would love to hear your comments!

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Purple Hat on: July 11, 2008 03:50:43 PM
I have some spare yarn,
So what should I do?

I will crochet a purple hat,
That's what I will do.

But this hat is special,
It is one of a kind.

The yarn supply ran short,
So I had to abort.

My crocheting was over,
This hat what's leftover.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Pink and Green Scarf on: July 11, 2008 03:48:08 PM
I took two yarns and knitted them into a scarf. It was just basic knitting and I tied tassels to the ends.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Blue and Green Scrap Scarf on: July 11, 2008 03:45:24 PM
I took all my extra yarn that was a shade of blue or green to make a scarf. I cut even pieces of each yarn and tied them together resulting in a fun and crazy scarf.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Black and white scarf on: July 11, 2008 03:42:16 PM
I made this scarf in about two hours. It was super fast and really easy. All  I I did was chain stitch until it was as long as I wanted and then single crochet, switching colors every couple rows, and then stopped once I liked the width.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First Hat on: July 11, 2008 03:39:51 PM
This is my first crochet hat I ever made. It was fast and easy.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fuzzy Blue Scarf on: July 11, 2008 03:36:57 PM
I made this scarf using two yarns. A solid blue and a fuzzy light blue. It was really quick and fun.

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Floral Quilt on: July 08, 2008 09:09:36 PM
I made this quilt when I was in the 5th grade. It has different flower fabrics and some solid colors that match. The back is solid floral. I entered it into the fair and it got honorable mention! I love making quilts... I think that soon I will make another! Cheesy
