2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / HELP ME PLEASE?! dress help! on: September 23, 2008 06:20:03 PM
october 18th my school is having a Sadie Hawkin's dance and it is like country themed with the straw bales, and dry corn stalks, pumpkins and all. I have this vision in my mind that i want to make my own dress. Like shortish, no longer than knee length, either reconstructed from old flannel shirts, or just country-ish material. Does anyone have annnnnny ideas?! Please help me, with either ideas, or pictures, or where I could find a pattern or anything?!!?! Please and thank you!
3  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Can anyone help me with popcorn balls please??? on: September 23, 2008 06:04:22 PM
so i have such a taste for popcorn balls, and i was surfing the net to look for a recipe, and there are seriously 4trillion different recipes. so i just guessed and picked one and i used this one: 1cup sugar, 1/3cup water, 1/3cup corn syrup, 1tsp salt, 1/4 cup butter, and 1tsp vanilla. I used 3 full bags of popcorn.

so my dilemma... it tastes like a popcorn ball, but it isnt hard at all. i tried to squish them into balls, and they just fall apart. i left them over night and they still wont harden..

can someone plllllease help me? what am i doing wrong? give me a new recipe!?

thannnnks!
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / NEW Pink-Black-Zebra Room! IMAGE OBESE! on: September 21, 2008 07:01:46 PM
so this is my new rooom. it used to have ugly sun-faded orange walls, and finally i got to paint and redo everything. the wall color is called "valentino". it is beautifullll. i didnt buy any furniture at all, it is all re-painted from someone else. the dressers were my boyfriend's parent' bedroom set, which his mom's parents owned before them, so needless to say, it is veeeeery old; now that it is painted, it looks beautiful and modern! and the loft bed i actually got from someone on craigslist, the greatest website ever!, and i painted that too. the letters on the tall dresser were totally free hand painted by moi! the mirror was also painted, and the lamp under my bed is from the 1920s and i repainted that bad boy too! the pics are like a month old, so the loft bed now has white drapes hanging so you can't see in it if you didn't want to. I LOVE MY NEW ROOM!  Grin

now on to the pictures!! Cheesy

oh and my roommates too!
