I made my "twin" from papier mache.

First, I made the base....

Painted it white:

And painted the details:

Me and my twin!

This is my first challenge!  I had fun!

32  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: Whats your size/challenge? on: January 29, 2006 11:11:12 AM
Does anyone have suggestions for lengthening pants? I think I might just have to go to a tailor and get him to adjust all of mine. I'm still searching for the perfect pair of jeans.

My boss loooves to get her pants and pjs from Long Elegant Legs (Tall Women's Clothes) online.  Between that website and getting pants from Lucky Brand and Victoria Secret, she's finally happy with finding pants.  (She's 6'1 and very thin...)

Thanks!  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.  Before I got the punch I would hold the paper under the marble and cut around it.  Then I'd just keep cutting around until the paper was small enough.

With this punch, though, I made, like 50 of these in no time!  I found the punch at Michaels Arts and Crafts store.  I had to go to 3 different Michaels before I found one.  This is the 1/2" punch made by Marvy Uchida.  If you can't find one in the craft store, you can always buy one online.  If you need some websites, let me know.

Here's a picture of what the punch looks like.  The size of the silver sticker is the size of the punch.  You'd think that'd be obvious, but I wasted $8 on the wrong sized one.  This 1/2" punch was $3.50 or something like that. .  I am so glad I bought it!

I tried one.  I'm giving this to my boss' daughter for her birthday.  I love this picture marble thing.  It's addictive!
P.S.  It's really great to have a 1/2" punch.  I was cutting them all by hand and it was taking forever!
