1  Can ya stand another one??? Halloween paneled skirt in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by TessieSewsAlot on: August 12, 2008 11:19:40 AM
I thought Id share one more.  This one was going to be a tote bag.  It was cut and pinned, put away and forgotten.  When I found it, I decided it would be cuter as a skirt.

2  Cleaning out my closet....fabric closet that is....... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by TessieSewsAlot on: August 12, 2008 07:53:58 AM
I have a fabric addiction.  LOL.  I really needed to weed out a few things, cause I had a little of this and a little of that, but not enough to make anything really big.  I see all those cute little twirl skirts on Etsy and here and thought Id make a couple for my neices.  Problem is, my neices are in South Carolina and the size I THOUGHT they wore ( that's the one my brother told me, should have asked my SIL) is too small.  These were made from scraps.  Let me know what you think.

3  Summer halter top from destash in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by TessieSewsAlot on: July 17, 2008 10:01:53 AM
This is a halter top I made for my daughter ( the hot pink top).  It was from some fabric I bought on clearance 2 years ago.  It was going to be a skirt, but I didnt make it twirl-y enough and I was working with no pattern, so it became a cute halter.

The 2nd place ribbon was for her First Aid project, my other daughters ribbon was for her Creative Arts project.  She made a braided rug out of recycled plastic grocery bags.  Ill be posting a picture of it soon!  Thanks for looking.

4  My 9 yo's 4-H project in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by TessieSewsAlot on: July 17, 2008 09:56:59 AM
My daughter just completed her first year of 4-H sewing.  This is her project.  She had to make an elastic waisted skirt and wanted to stand out and be different, so she opted to make a poodle skirt.  She didnt place ( there were 19 girls taking the same project) but we think she did fabulous!!!  She scored all excellents and 1 good ( because it didnt reflect a "current" style, lol)  The hair scrunchie on her wrist was also part of the project, she also made the scarf out of the same fabric.  The blouse was purchased and I added vents on the side for more roominess.

thanks for looking.
