Great idea.  Something like this would make a great earring holder too.

very pretty!  i really like the first one

Thank you so much.  I like the first one too, its one of my favs.

Those are beautiful! I love them all. How did you make them? Or is that a secret? Roll Eyes

Thank you.  No its not a secret.  I have another post here that somewhat details how I made them, with some different pictures.  They are washers.

Here are a few more of the pendants I have made.  I had such a wonderful response to my last posting I thought I would share some more pieces with everyone.  Thank you so much for looking and taking the time to comment.

I really like them, especially the gecko one.  How do they close - do they have a clasp?

Thank you so much.  The gecko one is on a satin cord that is adjustable.  Actually all of them are on adjustable cords with the longest length ranging from 26-32 inches and can be adjusted to choker length.  Some of them have bead pulleys and some are just the knot pulleys.

so 1.5 inch washers?  metal washers?  all hand painted then?  Or how did you get the images on there?

I think they are absolutly fabulous!  Alex Grey Artwork Pendant is really funky.  Flower and Gecko Pendant:  soooo cute!  i would wear those, and I don't wear jewelry regularly

Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment.

yes these are all 1.5 inch washers.  I have made smaller ones too, just not pictured here.  I wish I could take credit for actually painting them on there but alas, I am not that talented.  The Mcmenamins ones are coasters that they serve there, they are of some kind of cardboard, they just throw them out after we use them, so I stick mine in my purse The thief that I am;).  Then I peel the very thin layer of printed paper off and then affix it to the washer, then use decoupage and a resin glaze to finish it off.  The Gecko and flower one is paper with cut outs.  Ugh, hard to explain.  I made matching beads for one of the Mcmenamins ones and the Alex Grey one.  OK, I hope I made some sort of sense here.  Thanks again.

I love the two sun ones.  So pretty.  Can you do a shot with one on someone or let me know how large they are so I can picture the scale?  If you don't mind.  Tongue

I can try to take a picture on someone if a few days.  I actually have made different sizes, but all the ones in these pics are 1.5 inches in diameter, hope that helps.

Love them! I'd definitely buy and wear them. Are the edges a bit rounded? The lighting on them looks like they might be.

Good work! Thanks for sharing. I hope they sell well at bazaars.

Yes, the edges are raised and rounded a bit with a resin glaze.  I am glad you like them, thank you for the comment.

These are lovely!  I have a question, I just bought a pendant similar to those and I want to paint it but it's glass. Is it painted on glass?

These are not glass, although that might be a cool idea.  These are washers.  Thank you for the compliment.
