1  Crocheted Ring in Crochet: Completed Projects by KRB on: May 15, 2011 06:40:23 PM

A small but satisfying project!

I found the tutorial here at FaveCrafts: http://www.favecrafts.com/Accessories/Crochet-Ring-Pattern#
These are quick and easy! I think I made one in just half an hour. I made several and gave them to my daughter's friends.

I found a neat tutorial about crafting with book pages: http://alisaburke.blogspot.com/2010/11/holiday-crafting-with-book-pages.html

This is what I came up with.

I found this tutorial and tried it for myself: http://www.mandipidy.com/2010/11/tutorial-book-page-necklace.html

And I found out I'm not very good at jewelry making! LOL But it turned out cute.

4  ruffled shrug in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by KRB on: May 15, 2011 05:20:58 PM
I reconstructed this t-shirt into a ruffled shrug!

It could be a bed jacket, too. Does anybody wear bed jackets anymore?

5  Curtain from blue jeans in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by KRB on: May 15, 2011 05:11:06 PM
I love how this turned out! I just sewed together squares of denim cut from jeans and then sewed it to an old curtain, using its tabs to re-hang.

6  Amish costume in Costumes: Completed Projects by KRB on: May 15, 2011 04:45:29 PM
I made an Amish costume for my niece. She won 1st place for her Social Studies project at her homeschool fair!

(That's actually my daughter modeling it. She & her cousin are only a few months apart in age.)

I found this neat project at http://bibbidi-bobbidi-beautiful.blogspot.com/2010/02/pb-knock-off-stretched-canvas-wall-art.html and just had to try it for my own sewing room.

I love it! I plan to make more when I can.

I received today from myklia! A really cool blue cloth and a ball of "Gumdrop" yarn, which is already on the needles, I love it so much! Thanks, myklia!

It's not the greatest picture, but you get the idea. I hope.  Wink

10  Re: Friendship Granny Square Swap R10 (Feb) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by KRB on: March 07, 2009 12:45:28 PM
I received from jessvict today! She sent me four beautiful squares and a pair of very pretty matching earrings, which I'm assuming she made herself. Thanks bunches!  Cool

Here's a closer shot since I cut off the bottom two and it gives you a little closer look at the earrings. There's a light blue bead in the middle. My camera just won't take good close-ups!
