1  Twilight?? in New Swap Theme Ideas by ambermi on: July 06, 2010 12:21:22 PM
Alright so I'm a super newbie to swapping... Never wanted to participate in one until the cupcakes!

Just wondering... I saw the vampire swap, but has there already been a Twilight swap? I've become obsessed.  Embarrassed

From Mandys08:

My favorite bib is not pictured, because I put it on the baby IMMEDIATELY after opening the box, and she IMMEDIATELY drooled all over it. Haha! But it was pink hand embroidered with her name (Amira).

Upclose of the onesies- I love the “Cupcake Time!”

Sweets Storage

Cupcake Toolbelt, complete w/ AWESOME cupcake recipes I’ve never heard of and DYING to try!!

AND OUR FAAAAAAAVORITE:

A tuuuuuuuuutuuuuuuuu u!!!!

She’s like what IS this stuff?! (LOL)
-Sorry for the watermarks, I’ve had my pics stolen off the net before. So, the pics of the baby might not stay up forever.

Thanks, Craftster Auntie Mandy!!!
-Amira (and Amber) =)

I’ve been a sewer’s block for quite some time since the baby. But I think this swap kicked my butt into gear!! THANK YOU, edenskitty!! SO- what swap are we doin’ next?!

HERE GOES!!

This was a couple months ago... I did my own extentions. Took FOREVER. But it lasted like two months so I can't complain!

And this is my own hair (now)... It's hard work working with it naturally!!

7  "♥ANBA: Troublesome Princess Cyber Soul" - ANIME SERIES in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by ambermi on: February 09, 2009 01:37:31 PM
Sooooo... I'm not sure if this goes here or not, so please lemme know if this is the wrong place!!

BUT... I tend to play in makeup when I get bored. So for a myspace makeup challenge, I tried my hand at Anime Eyes. Guys- I HAD A BLAST. And that is an understatement. This is the craziest thing I've ever done with my makeup, but I've NE-VER had that much fun with my makeup!!! I didn't wanna take it off!! My boyfriend though... HATED it. He wouldn't even look at me! Whenever I went in the room he would yell for me to "take that freaky makeup off!!" (HAHA!!) If it wasn't so late I would've went somewhere to show it off!!

Okay, enough.

On with the pictures:

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?!
I LOVE it. In a wierd sorta way.  Grin

(FYI... one open eyed pic, plus a few others are on PAGE THREE!! Thanks for looking!!)

04/07/09 UPDATE:
HELLO ALL!!! Thank you for continuing to view my post!! Sooooo FOR AN UPDATE: I haven't been on here in awhile since my computer has been down... AND I've been kinda put OFF regarding the internet lately. I was informed by a friend a couple weeks ago that SOMEONE TOOK MY ANIME MAKEUP PICTURES AND POSTED THEM TO A PORN SITE!! YES, I SAID A PORN SITE!! I'm so angry. I guess I should be glad that the image was not manipulated in any way... BUT STILL! A PORN SITE?! Getting that call was not fun. I was actually really embarrassed even though the image was not clearly not sexual. I have these images posted both here and myspace. I'm proud of my work! And I'm forcing myself to believe the thief was a myspacer. Because I really love craftster and don't want to take it down!! But seriously it could have been anyone. And it's really changed my perspective about posting ANYTHING. Sad

8  "KNOT" Another Pattern or Tutorial Question?! in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by ambermi on: February 09, 2009 01:17:59 PM
I loooove the "knoted" look in clothing... but for the life of me can't figure out how to actually execute it! Can someone explain to me how to make that "knot" right there in the middle?? Either through words, tutorial, or video??

I have a dressform in my size so I usually do draping to create my pieces... I'm a very visual person, and I'm stumped as to the SHAPES that are needed to create this look.  Huh . Maybe I should just go buy a pattern with that specific design element in it and only use that piece??

Here's a picture of what I mean:

(at http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v432/gits_r_us/jhuddaily/234.jpg if the picture doesn't show)

Any suggestions??

Thanks, Loves!!  Kiss

10  UPDATE (W/ ACTION SHOT): It's a recession ya'll!!! ...Who needs CURTAINS anyway! in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by ambermi on: December 21, 2008 10:00:06 PM
Sooooo... I can't afford to buy any fabric... but I NEEEEEED a new Christmas outfit!!! Time to cut up some old curtains!!! Imagine shiny black leggings, and short booties!! WHOOO WEEEEE!!! I'm EXCITED!!!

Onward with the pictures!!

I'll wear it like this with the belt:

But here it is anyway without the belt:

And a side view (I made the back of the bodice intentionally longer, and the zipper is on the other side):

And lastly, a close up of the bust edging and embroidery:

YAY!! Smiley

Update 01/02/09 ACTION SHOT:

(BTW, I couldn't find my good strapless so it looks kinda wierd in the boobage area on this picture... BUT, with the correct bra it fits properly!)
