Have you ever tried to maybe spray your matte pieces with this resin finishing spray?  Castin Craft clear gloss finish.  You might be able to save your previous pieces.  I had to sand edges off the back of several of my pieces.  Afterwards they looked cloudy.  One quick spray of that gloss finish and they looked great again.  I got mine at the plastic store, but you can probably order online.

I love the jewelry, especially the sort of flower beads with the small black bead between each.  However, that doll is going to give me nightmares!  I'm not a big fan of dolls.

Wow! these are cute!!
How do you make the dog tags for people? I want to make myself one Smiley

I cut image to fit and then glue on.  Top with Diamond Glaze.  But to be honest, I am not loving Diamond Glaze.  I don't think it is that durable.  I am going to try pour-on resin next time.

OHH I LOVE THEM I have 2 pugs of my own Miss Sadie Mae Jenkins and Miss La La Lashane.
I hope your event went well.

I did great - thanks!  I was happy to have sold about $280 worth of stuff with 50% of that going to Pug Savers Pug Rescue.

Good to know about the pour-on EnviroTex Light.  I have a big box of that and haven't used it yet.  Will try it out.
30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: The random RESIN question thread! on: November 01, 2008 08:40:05 AM
Hooray kimiao!!! I'm glad you figured out your problem!! So awhile ago I posted a question asking what everyone uses to mix their resin in (if there was anything I would be able to use and reuse) I bought a set of 3 plastic measuring cups, I mix my resin in it, use what I need (usually all of it) and after everything is cured the resin in the measuring cup usually is so I "pop the seal" and peel it out  Grin It's worked very well for me so far so I thought I'd let you guys know!!! Happy crafting!!! And late halloween  Smiley I love these pumpkins!!!!

That is a great tip!!!  I finished using all my disposable ones and it annoys me to no end that I have to waste so much in making resin pieces.  Reusing the measuring cups is a great idea.

Are these just the typical knock-off Pyrex type measuring cups in hard plastic?  So you don't measure hardener and resin in separate containers and then add together into the third?
