1  Family Moments in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by Krysdra on: December 30, 2013 08:34:18 PM
I made this for my parents. I woodburned the family moments and the months on the actual plaque. For the discs, I ended up using a sharpie. It seems our family is always growing, and with my parents living halfway across the country, this made sense, so that they could add to it if necessary. My husband drilled the holes for the discs, and because of the size, I ended up having to make the hooks to fit it. I hope you enjoy!

2  Baby blanket in Knitting: Completed Projects by Krysdra on: February 08, 2009 08:42:12 AM
I'm not sure if this the right place or not, but I am going to post it anyhow. I made this on my USM for my nephew.

And a close up of the cabling I used to try to stop the curl:

As you can tell, it did not work all that great, but I guess it could be worse. Let me know what you think.

3  Wonkey Monkey in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Krysdra on: February 08, 2009 08:35:02 AM
I made this for my nieces' birthday. Her party is today. I'm not very good at embroidery, but she's 3, and I don't think that she will care.

This is the monkey by itself:

This is my daughter with the monkey (she loves having her pic took):

The pattern came from a tear sheet at either Wal-Mart or AC Moore.

4  Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along in Craftalongs by Krysdra on: December 30, 2008 05:31:53 PM
I finally got my daughters poppets done. They were done for Christmas. One kid loved hers, and the other one was scared of hers. Oh well! Can't please everybody! Anyhow, here they are:

I decided to forego the sculpted nose, but other than that, I think it is all the same. Thanks Ghilie.

5  scrap blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by Krysdra on: August 17, 2008 07:47:02 PM
This is a blanket that I made for my daughter about a year ago. It is a combination of granny squares and basket weave squares. Thanks for looking!

First, a close up of squares:

Second, a full view of blanket:
