Makeover supplies, girly books, jewelry, hair accessories, polish and nail goodies, etc. Any and all things girly go in this swap.. would anyone be interested in co-organizing with me? Or if you want to organize (I have never done it before! dohhh!!) I would def. co-organize.
Who is interested?!!? Comeee on this would be fun!
Reconstructed handbags swap.. I would be willing to organize if there was enough interest. My goodwill sells all handbags for $1.. and buying them used (as long as they are clean inside/out) is a great way to save money.. this could be a cheap swap. Reconstruct using whatever.. ric rac, ribbons, painting, adding embelishments, rosettes, etc.
You can do them any way you like.. depending on your partner's taste, etc. Google "reconstructed handbag" and the results are endless! (:
Maybe a hair accessory to go along with the handbag, or some other accessory too?! Great for leading into Spring/Summer.. lemme know if you are interested xo
Made these for a recent swap.. first time making hand warmers and ahhh they were so soft and cozy I wanted to keep them! heheh Deep pink cashmere & light pink cashmere rosettes made from repurposed cashmere sweaters. The "leaf" is made with trimmed ribbon.
First real.. "clothing" project, small and simple, but I like 'em. Let me know what you think & thanks for browsing (:
Kind of hard to see the details of the rosettes.. oh well (:
I recently embroidered these for a swap. Mario and Mushroom from Nintendo (duh! hehe) .. did it freehand, and while I have never embroidered freehand before I was pretty happy with the results. They def. have some blips in the stitching and are in some places kinda' wonky.. but I like them overall. (:
Crafted this last night on my bed - which turned into a hugeee glittery mess - but really love the outcome. My first wreath - to be shipped this weekend to my bestie! The purple is much more brilliant than the pictures show.. eeek!! Tell me what you think - may make a few more (: Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated! (:
New to the area and have discovered a couple thrift stores and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.. thrift shops, craft shops, happenings, etc. in the area or nearby? Would love any suggestions (:
Would love to participate in or see an ornament swap.. maybe craft 2-3 ornaments.. would be cheap to ship, etc. and have something cute/new for the tree. Orrr fill a stocking with a few crafted items and other mini wish list items, etc??
I would be happy to be a co-organizer.. lemme know if you are interested!
I have posted a link for this before and though I wouldn't want to organize the swap.. b/c I have too much on my plate as it is, I DOOOO want to participate.. (: I would love to see a $1 Store swap.. I often find crazyyy amounts of crafty goodness at my dollar shops.. I have even found Jolee's scrapbooking stuff, expensive stamps, scrapping kits, all sorts of things.. I say the goodies would be limited to spending $10-12.00.. and then craft 2-3 items. With things only bought from the $1 store.. minus the glue and stuff that you may need to bind items, of course (: But yea.. fun, cheap, easy. (: Anyone with me?
I have seen it posted before, but would love to be a part of a dollar store swap. Craft a few items made with stuff from the $1 store, buy a few funky things your partner may not find in his/her dollar store of choice, and maybe a couple gag items (: Would be lots of fun, and quite cheap.. maybe keep it under $15?? You can do a lottt with some of stuff you find at a dollar store.. comeee on people!
