Yaaa - you can buy the tapioca pearls (which are the bubbles in bubble tea) online or in certain grocery stores (they are all over the place here, but depending on your location.. I have no idea..). Bubble tea is yummmyyyy.. esp. passion bubble tea.. mmm mmm! Some people are easily grossed out by it, though. hehe  Tongue

The Starbucks teas.. as in the London Fog and stuff like that? Awww. I loved the London Fog.. as far as Starbucks goes, it was pretty tasty I thought.

Wahooo.. just sent my q&a in and *crossing fingers* hoppeee I get to participate! It would be my first swap-aroo! Yesss.. a newbie, here.
Oooo the "voted best in Toronto" espresso and coffee shop is just around the corner from my place.. would be a great little item to send to my partner. It is honestly some of the best espresso I have ever had. The coffee is really flipping good, too.  Smiley

You will <3 it forever and ever! It's a great investment and you never have to worry about your cupcakes getting smooshed/mashed and cruddy - they stay perfect!

It was one of the best things my bf every bought for me (: hehe Tongue
150  COOKING / Dessert / HELLPPPP with Rolled Fondant!?!?!? on: March 19, 2009 11:16:24 AM
Ok, maybe I am a moron fondant-newbie.. but I don't get it?!? I have tried using it on cupcakes.. I was actually trying to create zebra stripes and after buying pre-made fondant (Wilton) and dying it myself (deep brown) it was completely sticky and not easy (at all!) to work with. The stripes looked HORRIBLE and I ended up scrapping the idea and just using icing.

I LOVE the look of rolled fondant and the way I have seen other's post and use it.. I just need some pointers and maybe tell me what I am doing wrong/or can do to fix the problem of it being so sticky and uneasy to work with. Also, do you cut it with an exacto knife or??

Anything would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!! Huh
