71  Boney Finger Wands in Completed Projects by mieljolie on: July 06, 2008 08:41:27 PM
Yes, I know it's rude to point fingers.  But, when you want to curse someone, what better way than to give them the finger!

Below are some pics of my Boney Wands made from Sculpey Clay.  There is a red glass jewel in the end of the handle.  I reinforced the clay with a wire hanger before baking.

I'd love to hear what you think.

72  12 Plait Braided Whip made from poly rope that really cracks! in Costumes: Completed Projects by mieljolie on: July 06, 2008 08:15:13 PM
After watching a "how to" video on YouTube.com about making a 12 plait bull whip, I decided to try my hand at making a lime green whip for my daughters costume out of cheaper materials.

I used green poly rope, which I unraveled for the 2 layer thong, wrist strap, fall, and cracker.  I used Duct tape for the belly and a pencil for a handle.  Ended up only costing $2 ($1 each of rope and duct tape).  It took forever to braid.  But, I'm still amazed that it really cracks!

Hello all,

My name is Tiffany.  And, I'm a can-tab-a-holic.  Smiley

Seriously, I just found this site and I see so many kindred recycling spirits.  I wanted to share some projects made from soda and beer can pull tabs I started last year.  Hope you enjoy!  I know I do making them.

If you like any of this stuff, please check out my blog for even more projects, images and even some patterns:
