41  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Honey Bee set on: March 18, 2011 02:54:47 PM
I've done a lot of reworking with this set, too, but think I'm finally happy with it.

I like how the necklace turned out, but still not sure about the bracelet.  I can't find any more of the chain from the necklace, so went with what you see here for the bracelet.  Any suggestions?

The image charms all came together, but they inspired me to look for figural charms to make a fuller bracelet

Pirate bracelet

Bracelet of Shame - I found the image charms first and then had to find drink charms to go with them!

Lucky Bracelet of Luck - I've made a couple of these over the past year for various people

This was my first go at using resin, and I learned a lot, not least of which is that it really does matter if you get air bubbles.

The images are older and newer TV (Twilight Zone and MTV 80's logo), Pac Man, 80's computer font, screen of my smart phone, and my husband on Skype.  There are little bits of sparkle in the resin, which in retrospect may not have been a great idea, but I'm still happy with how it turned out for a first try.
47  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / What's Your Sign set on: March 18, 2011 02:38:49 PM

The bracelet has a charm for each of the star signs, and the earrings are the symbols for my and my husband's signs.  It's very 70's, but it makes me smile every time I look at it!

Another "show-off" necklace...

When I'm actually wearing it, the strands twine around each other a bit more.

A wearable toolkit for the stylish vampire hunter Wink  The vial is supposed to contain holy water - I guess extra sparkly holy water.

For a long time I tried to make this whole thing into a charm necklace, but it just wouldn't quite come together.  Finally I settled on a plain necklace and the charms on a bracelet.

The charms on the bracelet are somewhat random.  When I'm bored I like to use them to try to make up a detective story using them as plot points.  The red fish is supposed to be a red herring (I know that's not what herring look like, but I had trouble finding a herring-looking charm).
