12  some converse;; duh. [[img heavy as always with me]] in Shoes: Completed Projects by mollyxmayhem on: July 11, 2008 06:59:06 AM
they were white with a pink silk? [[i think]] inside, and hot pink stitching and racing stripe.
they're still white, if anyone has any ROCKIN' ideas for the fabric that are SUPER easy and can use blue and pink, tell me!

15  i decided to get crafty :] [[img heavy, as always]] in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mollyxmayhem on: July 06, 2008 02:45:45 PM
i made this duct tape wallet, how original.
Tongue
it's made of 7 playing cards and uber lots of duct tape and some packaging tape.

but i like it.
it's pretty plain, since we're not fun and don't have colored duct tape.
:[
but i tried to personalize it up by keeping the card showing!
i used those icky pink cards with inverted colors?
icky.
but i used three cards per side, and one for the ID.
then slathered it in duct tape.
Cheesy
i'm known at my house for loving tape.
i'm hoping to get colored tape soon, anyone know a good place to get some?

16  pillow sham+skirt+belts? IMG HEAVY in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mollyxmayhem on: July 05, 2008 07:26:58 PM
hello.
:]

about 2 months ago, i got the sudden urge to make a purse.
so i goodwilled my local goodwill.
and found a CUTE skirt, two belts, and a cute pillow sham.

and about 3 hours later...
we got this.

one of the reversible sides.
:]

the bag.

the strap.

the whole thing.

now the other side!!
[[i personally like this side]]

the bag.

[[same strap just black.]]

the whole thing.

in the back, there's a secret zipper pocket!
:]

the pocket itself can hole my 3rd generation iPod, cherry chocolate cell phone, and my camera.
WITH room to spare.

and it's gone!
:O

we just took a medium skirt and a regular pillow sham and a small belt and an xxl belt.
we sewed the pillow sham inside as the lining, and used the outside for the strap cover.
then we sewed the bottom together, and made the pocket, and sewed on the top.
then we added the belt loops.
and threaded the belt through the outsides of the sham.
and viola!
a purse.
