I've been drooling over other people's homemade soaps long enough!  I want to make my own!  Tongue

But I keep seeing these beautiful bars of soap with one side textured - almost like they went back and poured some melted soap, etc on them right before they hardened completely.  Since I don't have a clue what I'm doing (and I'm going to try cp for the first time soon) - is that what happens?  Or is there some other trick to getting those really cool looking bars of soap?  Huh
