1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Miss Cthulhu Amigurumi on: March 02, 2009 02:52:10 PM
I bought the book Creep, Cute Crochet a while back even though i had no idea how to crochet.  So finally, last weekend i dedicated my life to it and after about a day and a half i successfully learned how to make amigurumi! so my first project: Cthulhu. The whole reason i bought the book. Except, i only had pink yarn...but that was quickly fixed with a couple of retarded adjustments in the design.

introducing.....LITTLE MISS CTHULU!!

From the back!

obviously, the books wing pattern discouraged me.

She hangs from my rearview mirror now in leu of my "Fuzzy Dice" air freshener.
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Yven the Yedi on: March 02, 2009 02:42:08 PM
My take on the oh so popular to make yeti plushies.
I'm just in love with mountain men i think.

I decided to make him when i saw the MOST CUDDLY FABRIC EVAR for 50% off. 4 dollars for this amazing stuff? should be easy enough to make something sweet out of it! yeah! no.
it wouldn't go through my machine T-T
so Yven here, he's 100% really hand sewn.
His face and belly button are free handed in embroidery floss.
Belly is some scrap felt i had

i think he took me about an hour to an hour and a half to make.

p.s. In no way is his name related to final fantasy!  It was only met to be a form of a nice name like evan!
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Enigma: Deformed Human Extrordinaire. on: July 16, 2008 08:25:58 AM
I made this thing about a year and a half ago, and it's gotten a pretty good amount of attention on DeviantArt, or well, for someone as little known as me.

He was made on a whim out of some remnant fleece i had bought and stored my closet when dinosaurs walked the earth. He came out pretty well, i'm not totally satisfied with him, but at least he's huggable and that's really what counts to me.

And in case you have no idea what he has to do with anything, the idea for him came from the disturbing short story The Enigma Of the Amigara Fault by Junji Ito, featured in the last book of his series Gyo(which is way more gross).

Reference Image:

He's much more goofy than creepy.

Materials- Fleece, buttons
