Red you should really consider getting into set design, Ive seen a number of your pieces and they really lend themselves to the art of set design!
32  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: sexy hippo and elephant on: November 25, 2004 12:54:24 PM
That Elephant is the best, he/she looks so darn sweet.  Looks like he'd be kinda ho hum and speak kindly muddly and have trouble finding his keys. and maybe have a persistant head cold... Grin Cheesy Smiley

I am knew to crochet and kinda just do my own thing, anyway you could "dumb down" how the heck you did those.Huh

and in case I havent mentioned it I am in mad sexy love with that elephant... Kiss Tongue

"Ummm hi my name is morty, do you have any tissue I can borrow?"

ETA; sum of them darn punc-tuashuns!
33  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: I do photography. [kinda image heavy] on: November 24, 2004 12:52:38 PM
must make sweet sweet lovin to you now.now dammi!!!  uhhh  Wink Embarrassed

but seriously, great work, may I suggest some outdoor work? such as abandonded houses, barns, old mill works and large equipment.  Those mediums with a single person look so haunting IMHO.  Also, as far as your pup goes, mine is a big ham from being my subject sooo many times.  Try taking some shots of him/her in reflection, like a car mirrow (my fav of my shuggie) its so interesting to get shots of pets/animals looking at themselves, very full of expression....

keep up the great work...

Hi ya chica!  most thrift stores in tally have caught on to that whole "thrift is in" thing and charge outlandish prices, there are a couple of salvation army stores that arent so bad, and the pelican something or other on gaines st is pretty nifty although can be pricey.  Now, as for dumpster dhiving, tally is a good place for that!! - but some folks just cant hang with the DD.....lol Wink
