and came out with this:

as modeled with a white shirt underneath:

I thought the pattern was going to be great. I have been wanting to make a lightweight hoodie for when I am riding my motorcycle in the summer (Florida= skin cancer if you don't watch yourself!). I bought the knit on sale (60% off) at JoAnn, and figured I would give the pattern a try. Well, not only did it make the hoodie WAY too short, the pockets and yoke were supposed to be raw edged- a trend I am not personally partial to for myself. I was so annoyed I put it down for about 30 minutes and came back to it. And out popped a vest!
