If youve been watching the sew-a-long boards you'll know this jacket. a second batch of us have attempted the dreaded John Galliano jacket. i just finished mine. i made some changes to the detailing (placement of the eyelets and snaps) and also made the long sleeve removable with snaps at the shoulder. i didnt plan on being able to actually WEAR such an avant garde piece but i really think its rockin. check out the sew-a-long boards to see some other craftsters take on the same piece!

without sleeve:

DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE!

i took some artistic liberty when it comes to the eyelets and appliqued grosgrain pieces. oh! and also, i added snaps to where the long sleeve attaches to the shoulder so that it can be removable.

definitely wearin' it with my white docs Wink

sigh.... DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE! Cheesy

hey individual frog, if its not too much trouble and if you have a camera laying around would you mind posting a picture of how you did the elastic sleeve and how you connect it to the front with that button stand business? im a bit confused and if i could just see up close how someone else did it... thanks!
