1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / ...so I have this 30 foot roll of S-video cable... on: February 27, 2012 04:20:16 PM
It is comprised of 1 red and 1 white wire--about 16-18 gauge--and 8 very soft white cotton strands.  I get quite a bit of various wires at my job and they are not nearly this long  or thick.  These thinner wires are great for bracelets & I wear 5-6 of them variously knotted,  woven, twisted, crocheted every day, sort of as a way to encourage recycling and as a way of procuring more for myself!

Anyway, what could I do with this thick wire?  and the cotton thread?  What about the black outer covering?  Could the inner wires be stripped, too?  (copper inside)
