I was inspired by all the creepy cute stuff I've been seeing lately... and especially inspired by SpookyPooky. Although I don't quite have her caliber of skills, this is my homage to her.

My Father-in-law just celebrated his 75th, so since we live in a different state, I sent him a party in a card!

The Champagne bottle and glass were actually clear plastic over a background color...they didn't photograph well. The front was plain with the hounds-tooth print along the spine of the card, and of course the punch-out where you could see the "75".  The table was 3D & the cake & stuff sat on the top of it. My favorite part is the little banner!

Just made a car charm for my friend who has no idea of the monster she created when she made me watch a Harry Potter movie for the first time last weekend!

I only recently saw my first Harry Potter movie...I never had an interest before, but we got snowed in so I watched PoA with my friend. There are so many neat little details, I completely understand why people become so fanatical! I decided that I needed my very own snitch...so here it is:

I made this over 3 years ago and just ran across the photo so I thought I'd post.
this is the second panel I had ever made (I still need to take pics of the first and subsequent ones)no pattern used - the corners are a blue & white art glass, the edges are blue waterglass and the center panels are a textured clear glass (hard to cut cleanly) I found the center bevel 1st & just had to make something with it.
 
I gave this to my (at that point, future) in-laws when I was meeting them for the 1st time.

I found this chair on the side of the road in a trash pile...it was dirty & worn, but structurally sound, so I took it home...I didn't know what I'd do with it but it was usable & I wasn't about to let it go to the dump!

I can't seem to find a pic of the chair before, but it was plain wood with what was once a white cloth seat. Upon closer inspection, the chair was made not with nails, but with wooden pegs, a real find!
Anyway, after many, many layers of paint, sanding, and distressing, and of course the perfect new upholstery for the seat....tada:



My friend had the chair at her Boutique shop and it sold after only 3 days
