1  1st FO posted - Log Cabin stlye Baby Blanket in Knitting: Completed Projects by Knit-Wit on: June 25, 2009 12:43:08 PM
I havent been on here in a long time because of finishing up school and such, but i have made time to work on some projects. I made this blanket for a couple at my church who recently had a beautiful baby girl named Carrie Anne (idk how they spell it). so here it is...

I got the inspiration from a book of knitted rug patterns, mainly the log cabin style squares of one such pattern. I also crocheted around the edge twice to help stabilize it(i then realized how big it really was  Cheesy ) I used Sensations Bellezza Collection Dolcetto yarn (which might i add is discontinued if you look for it at joann's online *sad*  Cry ) and i used the colors Dolcetto Blue, Yellow and Cream. it was delicious to work with so i know the baby will love it  Grin

It's a fairly simple pattern, it just requires a lot of stitches whether it's my pattern or the on from the book. If you want either one, just let me know and i'll find it for you. Enjoy!
