Oh, no, I missed this one too (sniffle). Pleeeez somebody start up another one soon! I would do it myself, but I am SO not the organized type. Any Type A's out there?
I love it, great job! I adore 50's dresses, just ordered 3 vintage patterns for them on ebay, so I hope mine turn out as good as yours did! I love the whole feminine, modest look of the 50's.......I swear I was born in the wrong era!
Ok, I'm new to pattern sewing & was wondering the best way to choose a pattern since i'm kinda pear-shaped. My measurements are very odd (36-33-43) & I was wondering if anybody can tell me which of these measurements I should use to select the best fit for me. I wear a street size 12, but looking at some of the patterns, I could range anywhere from a 10 (going by bust) up to 14 or 16 (going by hips). I'm so confused!! I really want to start making some clothes since I can't ever seem to find many RTW clothes that fit me correctly. Any suggestions would be SO appreciated! Thanks!
Wos, I have this same pattern that I've been working on since APRIL!! But it's my 1st dress, so I'm having some trouble figuring it all out. Yours is so pretty, you have motivated me to finsh mine now (or attempt to anyway).
