4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Postage Stamp WIP (pics of new block added Nov 25!) on: December 12, 2007 09:02:43 AM
I am so impressed!  I have to admit I've been lurking around this post each day waiting for updates, so I'm glad you're keeping everyone posted on your progress.  Since these pieces are so tiny, are you stitching them by hand or are you able to do it on your machine?  Keep up the great work, can't wait to see the finished product!

Okay, I realize that I'm waaaay late to this thread, but I just found out I'm pregnant (finally) & was looking for a neat way to tell our parents.  Sammyb, that movie trailer is such an awesome idea, how in the world did you make that?  Please share, we would love to borrow your idea (if you don't mind)!

7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Scrappy Recycled Quilt! on: July 30, 2007 02:34:38 PM
This is BEAUTIFUL!  I am so in love with this quilt!  My question to you is, even though it's a scrap quilt & you didn't use a pattern, how did you get it to look so aligned and make it so the blocks still fit together perfectly?  I want to try a scrap quilt for all my leftover fabrics, but I'm never sure how to start!  Keep up the excellent work, you're an inspiration!

Wow, how very punk rock!  I love them all, but I think the red has to be my favorite, along with those heels, of course!  Have you been sewing for long?  I always like to hear how people learned to sew clothing & how long it took to get comfortable with it, since it's an area i can't seem to master.  I'm uber impressed, you have skills!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Wedding dress (new link in forst post) on: July 27, 2007 05:31:21 PM
This is so rad!  How in the world did you learn to sew like that?  You need to start your own biz, you are overflowing with talent!
