1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Hubby's Valentine's Day gift (kinda pic heavy) on: February 14, 2010 01:05:44 PM
A little background first. My friends say I tend to say weird stuff. (I don't agree  Wink) So, whenever I catch them looking at me like I'm from another planet, I always blame it on the rats in my head. That leads to me having to tell them why that rat thought that the statement needed to be said. Hour long rat stories have come out of this and it has stuck. I have to have to try to remember all the rat stories and names cause they have to be repeated for everyone with the demand, "Tell her about Rupert! Tell her why he got to be in charge for the day!" I love my rats! The LYM is Love you more.

Ok. It is 11x14 and on canvas cause it's what I had. I took the pics before I trimmed it up. There's back stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, and a couple french knots. It's only the second thing I've done and my first satin stitch (and it shows). The font is just my handwriting.

The rat.

The brain.

The heart.

Closer ups.

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Birthday gift for Daddy on: February 14, 2010 12:05:34 PM
I'm sure that a lot of people do this. My dad always says "I love you more" when I tell him that I love him. And the argument could go on for days! Now, I win. The little laying down figure 8 thingy is the symbol for infinity. It is my first embroidery and I have you guys to thank for it! It's all stem stitch and 3 french knots.

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Cutting Machine Question on: November 22, 2009 11:25:38 AM
Is there a cutting machine on the market that will allow me to cut my own designs? Will the Cricut expressions cut my designs?
I have been reading for days and now I am completely confused. Huh
