11  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Lavi womens Vans Re-Vamped. on: July 16, 2008 03:10:18 PM
I didn't seal them, didn't know I should have, first time I have ever done anything like this. Luckily though I only wear them while I'm skateboarding and I don't board when it is wet, so hopefully it won't be a problem. Smiley

Wow. That is a compliment, I don't think I've ever been told that I inspired someone else. Thanks a lot.

Thank you all for your comments. When I'm done switching rooms with my sister I am definitely going to make some more and post them.

Actually it only took about twenty minutes. I just used regular sharpies so they only stained my fingers for two or three days Smiley. Thanks for the compliment by the way

Thank you all so much for your comments. I would love to make more, but I have no where to wear them. I have a sleak evening gown idea. I can share my sketch if anyone is interested. I have the fabric and when I have the event to wear it to I will make it.

18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: "guess who" rockstar addition! on: June 28, 2008 05:29:27 AM
I revamped my guess who game but it was with my senior year book. Took out the kids who were absolutely horrible to me and my friends, put them in and had a ball. I did it again at a family reunion with the family members which really helps you to remember family members names.

Secret compartments in books are always fun. In some old dictionaries my public library was giving away I made secret compartments for my books that I don't want ruined by dust and stuff like that.

This is perfect. My younger brother watches spy kids 3-d but he lost his original 3-d glasses. Its good to know they work so now I can make some for him.
