I dyed some fabric to use for fitted cloth diapers and mama pads. All fabric was wet before applying dye. They were supposed to be left to sit for 6-8 hrs (or more) but I didn't have time so I think they only sat for 5 hours. Still turned out rather well I will show a before pic (of the fabric setting) and an after pic as well.
Two tye-dyeing techniques: (the bottom one is just all scrunched up in a ball)

Low-water immersion: (I just layered one piece and squirted dye all over, then added another piece squirted more dye and on and on...)

I put these together today. My first time making clothes with such stretchy fabrics and my first time with this type of neckline. Definetely need some more practice but they turned out pretty cute

I made these leggings from a long ladies tank top I found on clearance. The brown lace was along the neck and sleeves of the tank top, I gently (and tediously) picked at the thread to get it off. I think they turned out rather well. Love the colour combo Her butt isn't really that big, it's just her cloth diaper :giggle:



I also made these wool longies for my DD as well. Made from the sleeves of a wool sweater and using the bottom hem of the sweater for the waistband. I'm teaching her how to pose for me Doesn't she look so impressed?? :giggle:

I made a cute pair of fleece board shorts for my daughter last week. Because they are fleece they also work as a great diaper cover I didn't make the waistband wide enough on these and I must have cut the fabric in the wrong direction because they're not very stretchy...

I also made 3 pair for a trade with another cloth-diapering Mama. I did everything right with these ones and I hope the other Mama and her little boy love them!

I made this neck pillow for my DD after getting tired of seeing her head bob when she sleeps in the car. That can't be good for her little neck! I also made these matching strap covers to go with it.

I used chocolate brown fleece and pink floral flannel for the set. The pillow is two seperate pieces, the pillow part and the cover. That way I can wash the cover. The strap covers reverse to either the pink or the brown and I used snaps as the closure.

I designed a Pretty Little Wetbag for those who don't like their wetbags to look like wetbags. It's a clutch style bag with a zippered 'wet' pocket lined with PUL and an outer dry pocket with snaps. It can also be used as a makeup bag. I really like how it turned out and I have sent out 5 to be 'tested' by some Mama's. It measures approximately 8"x5.5" so it fits nicely into a purse.

Anyway, here is the first one I made with some detailed shots followed by four of the five I sent out.

Hello My Mom gave me two large 36" x 40" pieces of "Original Formula Dip 'N Drape" by a company called Zim's. They appear to be in original packaging and I don't think they've even been opened. It says on the package that it works best for painted dolls. I don't think I have any use for it whatsoever, unless someone can give me some ideas...? The only dolls I make are stuffed ones, and I only do those for baby showers... What else can I use it for?

If anyone is interested in it we can arrange a swap.

I finished these up yesterday and I love 'em. I just bought 4 of these side-snapping AIO's for my daughter and love how they fit so I traced one of them and made my own clone. Then, I finaly got around to making cloth wipes. There are 18 in all, 2 of each pattern. They are backed with soft sherpa and they're so darn cute!
