1  CANADA / Ontario / Need to find glass decor stones in Guelph on: March 30, 2012 11:33:38 AM
Can anyone help me? I swear I used to see these EVERYWHERE and now that I need some I cannot find them. I am looking for those glass flat marbles that are used as decor in vases and fishtanks. And now they are also used to make magnets and other crafting projects. I do not want to pay for international shipping on these. Thank you Smiley

See the link a few posts above stockade.ca in Guelph has miniatures and some doll parts - and low shipping costs and a store if you are near.

Thanks, they are actually going to be really close to me once we move in February Smiley

Does anyone know where I can get small wooden items for crafting? I want to make my daughter some bendy dolls and doll furniture but I have been unable to find ANYTHING nearby. I live in Halton Hills. I found a couple places online within Canada but not one place has everything I need so I'd have to place multiple orders... and pay multiple shipping charges  Cry

Man... I miss White Rose like nobodys business Sad

Thank you Alyssa!

While I agree wool and fleece are preferred by many, PUL is thinner and also the #1 choice for some, including myself. I find wool too high maintenance and I could never get the hang of lanolizing. Fleece I find too bulky and you need two layers to make it as resistant as PUL.

You can get PUL from wazoodle.com , it ships fast in Canada but slow to the US.

BUt the biggest makers of PUL right now is Fabrite and they're going through some big changes right now so it may be hard to get some.

You may also want to check out the fsot section of www.diaperswappers.com and www.clothdiapernation.com to get some PUL Smiley
