Geckochan has still not received her package from me so I am going to provide proof of shipping here as well as show what I sent. I really hope it still arrives at some point...

There are 5 pantyliners made with hand-dyed (by me) organic bamboo fleece, backed with regular fleece and the soaker is made with ZORB. I also sent along a few tsps each of my two favourite loose leaf teas; cherry rose sancha and pina colada.

It's sad to think of these lovely pads lost out there somewhere with noone to love them Sad

JENNIE! I received your package today Smiley It's wonderful! The earrings, book thong and bookmark are lovely. The beads are great especially the teal and orange glass ones Grin
I must say that I am most excited about the little scissors. I have wanted a pair forever but it seems to be one of the items I always talk myself out of buying before I leave ths store...

Here's the pics:

Thanks a bunch Jennie!

I received my package from rlynn this morning. Now, I feel I must preface this post by saying this *ahem* I swap on a few different sites and there comes a time in every swappers life where you receive a package that is either not you, not well made or whatever Sad This, however is the complete opposite of that type of package! This type of package is the one that reminds you why you love to swap in the first place and completely makes up for any and all 'bad' packages in the past Cheesy

Rlynn has spoiled me. Some fabrics are from her own stash and a few of them she purchased for me. I love them all. A couple are half yards, but most are a good 30"+  Grin Jealous yet??? She also sent me 5 pots of fabric paint so I can finally attempt some freezer paper stencils! Oh, I'm so excited Smiley Rylnn you completely rock and words cannot describe how awesome this package is! Thank you very much for choosing me, I hope I can catch you on the swap sometime in the future to return the favor Smiley This is my favourite package so far. I do not have a local fabric store and when I get a chance to go to the one out of town, they don't have all these gorgeous prints. *sigh* I'm going to go roll in my fabric now...

Here's the loot in all it's glory:

29  Fabric Dyeing Adventures :) in Dyeing: Completed Projects by AbbyRose on: June 15, 2009 08:27:23 AM
I dyed some fabric to use for fitted cloth diapers and mama pads. All fabric was wet before applying dye. They were supposed to be left to sit for 6-8 hrs (or more) but I didn't have time so I think they only sat for 5 hours. Still turned out rather well Smiley I will show a before pic (of the fabric setting) and an after pic as well.
Two tye-dyeing techniques: (the bottom one is just all scrunched up in a ball)

The long one:

The balled up one:

Low-water immersion: (I just layered one piece and squirted dye all over, then added another piece squirted more dye and on and on...)

Random dye squirts all over:

Thanks for looking!

I received from ifallthraindrops today.

A small roll, felt and koolaid (for dyeing natural fibres like wool)

The roll is definetely too small for my larger paintbrushes but I think it will fit some smallish ones. Smiley
