So, I started with The Office board game.

I've had it for years, but since the only friend I have that watches The Office lives three hours away it hasn't gotten much play. It didn't take long to realize that what this little guy really wanted to be was an office organizer. (Sorry, I don't have any photos of the process.)

I painted the box and game board black and used them as the main structure. I added a strip of cork to the front and a panel of cork to the left side because I am a note whore and need plenty of room to leave myself notes and reminders.

Around back Stanley and Phyllis game pieces make for nifty bookends.

On the right side I used Dundee trophy pieces to make hooks for hanging random hangables.

And up top the tray that held the game pieces becomes an organizer tray.

And what would an Office desk organizer be without a cast gamepiece pencil holder?

Ahhh, crafting always leaves me satisfied and smiling. (That's what she said!)
