I love love love the colors in that yarn. My kool-aid dying is horrendous. Well, i've only done it one time, but it looked like sherbert. (you know, the raspberry/orange/lime kind.) I mean, that may be ok for some people, i just hate the colors. Ok. I'll stop rambling. You did a fantastic job, and again, your dye job is AMAZING!
I have really long hair, down to my hips, and sometimes when I am engrossed in my knitting, I start knitting in some of my hair without even realizing it. Usually it's just a few strands, and most of the time its just loose strands that were sticking out, but it's always a pain to pull out all the hairs. Sometimes, it gets so tangled up I have to frog some of my work to get the hair out. I thought I was just weird, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone.
Thanks so much for all of your replies! I'm going to have to look into the uniquely you form! I plan on doing quite a bit of draping, so I think the foam would make things go quite a bit more smoothly!
So I've decided to invest in a real-honest-to-goodness dress form for all of my sewing endeavors. But now, I need some feedback. I want something that will be able to stand up, and I'm not quite sure how to rig a duct-tape or paper-tape one to do that.
Anyways, what dress form do you use or would you recommend, or NOT recommend!
