vincentvanbuck's steampunk Oz is so cool! My first impression is that the sign from which Toto hangs is outside a bar. Love that card and take on the whole thing!

Check out the wonderful card cmarion3 made for my theme "A card you can shine light through"
She knows I love nature and went with that, too, titling it "My Tree Home"
It is constructed like an accordian with several layers. Pic to show that...

And here is light shining with no other lighting around...

and here is muted light to show the colors better...

the sparkly bird is a male cardinal and he perches on a branch.
what a wonderful surprise to get in my box today.
thank you so much, cmarion3!
P.S.  Got any in-progress pics?

I am the lucky recipient of the crochet-top one. I love it! I wish it were spring already so I could wear it and explain to complimenting onlookers how it was made. It is super comfy!

rockingbearranch picked my vintage childrens books theme and rocked it!

and that is only the first 'page'
open it and it continues with adorable illustrations...

I do not recognize that one, but it is veeery French, n'est ce pas?

I am sooo sure that the one on the right is from the book about the little old lady who refused to move when they wanted to build the highway right thru her property.

This one looks a lot like Scuffy the Tugboat.

I see Tibor Gergely here...
rbr, please tell us where these are from if you can remember.
I adore this card!!  Such a feelgood experience.
thanks so much, rockingbearranch!!
