Now that my camera is back in the land of the living, I have 3 cards to show off ...
lolaandbean made me this terrific ladybug card that has a pop art feel to it, like a graphic take on a lady bug.  I think it came out great!

Thank yoiu, lolaandbean!
Next, two from pollyprissypants on my local expressions theme.  She picked out two Texan expressions that really tickled my funnybone!

I SWEAR I am going to start using 'bigger n dallas' in my vocab, even tho i am up here in Vermont.  I love it!
Thank you, pollyprissypants.

I have three wonderful cards to show off!!  my camera has been down in the dumps but is now up and running again, thank goodness, which is why I am late posting.
first up, a fantastic vintage high preistess from Sabertooth Pixie...

There are numerous elements to this card - so many layers and things added. I love even the feel of it! Thank you so much, Sabertooth Pixie.

next, 2 from ZidishaLuxe, the first being page of pentacles in a vintage mode.

There is a book I love of local child labor photos that I really love, and this card sure hits the nail!  Again, there are wonderful elements added, like the wordy background and the sewn stars.  Another big winner!

She also made a bang-up hands (my theme) card, the ace of wands.

I wish you all could feel this card.  It has a fuzzy material background and beaded lace at the bottom. not to mention tons of sewing around the edges - I love it!
The backs of both cards are also full of lovliness!
Thank you, ZidishaLuxe!

524  Re: Inchies, Rinchies and Twinchies! Oh My! Swap - Send Out Aug. 15th GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by blupaisan on: July 24, 2011 05:23:16 PM
So, blupaisan is without camera and she asked me to post a pic of the inchies, rinchies and twinchie I sent to her. I also made her a bonus tw-rinchie (that's a 2 inch rinchie) but I didn't scan it, because... well, it's rather dimensional and didn't scan well, and I also made something similar for Nooo and I don't want to spoil the surprise - so Blu, if you have a pic or someone who can take a picture, go for it, but I don't have one.

Here they are:

She said she liked them! I went with owls and paisley. The paisley twinchie has a little book that I hand sewed together that has little facts about paisley in it.

Teamama, thank you so much for posting for me!
I love all of them, but I must say my two faves are the tw-rinchie which I will SOMEHOW post, and the owl to which you added a mustache and monicle.  so cute!  thanks for such great goodies!

Here's the ATC I made for blupaisan:

I wish my camera would cooperate!  I love my little kitty!she is sooo sweet. Thank you, Kartiana.  And thank you for the extra card.  With your letter E, I now have my whole name, and can put them together on my door.

I used a favorite childhood stamp for this and colored it in with pencils. I debated adding extra 3D elements, but in the end I felt it looked best just as it is  Smiley

I'm also posting the card that I sent to blupaisan for the reason that WideEyedLife already told. Smiley The theme was birds and here it is, one of the first ATCs that I have made:

i have a cockateil here now that looks JuST like this!!  His name is Willie.
Kitiza used the memory of her own dearly departed birdie to make this awesome card. i love it!  He is just adorable, with his little head turned. It is hard to believe that Kitiza has not  made hundreds of such great cards, but she claims to be a beginner.  Great job, I say!!
Thanks, Kitiza.

Blupaisan's camera is messed up, so I'm posting this for her.  Smiley

The theme is "Things your Grandmother probably wouldn't say", and, like I warned her when I claimed, it does need a mature tag.  hehe

I was a little unsure how this turned out--it's my first time drawing something of this style---, but hopefully it's kind-of what blupaisan was looking for!  (It made my hubby laugh, anyway!  lol)

Thanks for posting, Jess!!  I love this card!  This is indeed exactly what I had in mind. This is so  funny. I hope more folks choose this theme. WEL, you did a great job with it. You are just as talented with old folks as you are with the younger set. So beautifully created.  I did laugh when i opened this one.
Thank you WideEyedLife!!

Thank you AmandaBL!  It is gorgeous!!  I adore vintage, and my favorite part of this has got to be the film.

Hot Diggity!  i got a boatload of cards in the mail yesterday!

From ThreadorYarn, the letter G.  I have M, too and if someone will pick E, I can spell my name on the door to my bedroom.  This is so meticulously cut out, with magazine stripping behind...

Thank you, ThreadorYarn.  It's very stylish indeed!

From LolaandBean, my pizza theme.  She created 'school pizza' of which she has fond memories. I looooove sewn cards and this one is a great addition to my collection.

I am changing my mind about what i am planning for dinner.... Thanks, LolaandBean!!

FromTree27, my bird theme. I also love sheet music, so this is like getting two cards in one! Plus, she figured out I love turquoise, so it is as perfect as it can get.  So pretty.

Thank you, Tree27. You did a wonderful job on my theme(s).

Finally, from zkatom, she made not one but two for my flying household objects theme.  The first is called "Couches dont fit in hotair balloons".  How very funny!  Who would ever have thought of this one! What an imagination she has.

This is called Sad Plate, Happy Cup.  I guess one likes flying and the other would rather be on the kitchen table!

I love the pretty plane.  Makes me want to play with it like a toy!
Thank you, zkatom!
I sure hope Craftster turns these photos properly after I post...

Dont we have a bunch of talent here??!!
