I am posing this here - maybe I posted it elsewhere, too, now I cannot remember. My #@&! computer has crashed so many times, I cannot keep track of what I was trying to post when it crashed, so forgive me if this is a repeat. This is the kind of unicycle bling I am hoping for. I would love to have a cover for my seat and some pretty stuff to hang under it. I especially like the shells, but any large items on a chain would stand out as I ride... I am looking on the net from some spoke decorations that I'd like to see on my uni.

i wanted to sign up for this swap, but I was full up. I have been stalking it. I could not resist sharing this photo with you all - I rescued a mama possum when she was wandering the road after being hit. She is fading fast and I think I will be rearing her baby -

528  The Marlboro Summer Home (miniature thing, but pic heavy) in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by blupaisan on: June 06, 2010 11:43:15 AM
This is the second thing I have done with a cigarette box. This time I glued two together to make a townhouse. The Marlboro family prefers to stay in town for the summer where the action is, so they do their best to make their place look seasonal. They start hanging their laundry out instead of throwing it in the dryer. They let the cat out on the roof, where, the naughty thing gets up on the table, they put the woodstove to bed, and most importantly they plant their ever-popular hanging nasturtiums:

they even have a fruit tree espaliered up the side of their building.

I used a plastic piece from a business envelope to make this giant skylight. It bugs the heck out of the Marlboros in the summer because it makes the upper library and den areas absolutely cook.  One day, Mr Marlboro, who is the real sewer in the family, swears he will design giant curtains for it.

Mrs M has a good tan going from reading her morning paper on the roof with a cuppa joe.

The fire escape, thank goodness never used yet.

Just a pair of pants and a towel hanging on the line today....

Mr M has put tomatoes in a barrel out back and they are doing marvelously well, but not a single blossom. He is now ashamed to have the neighbors over.

Here is a photo commissioned by Mr M for Mrs M's Christmas present several years ago. It hangs above the fireplace.  Arial photos are costly, ya know....

Evidence.  Please don't tell Mr and Mrs M.  It might break their hearts.
Thanks for looking.

Here are my first three and my absolute faves from envirocraft. My one and only theme is trees. Isn't this tryptic cool?
Then there are these -

(i love the way the trunk dances in the orange one)
and these

i love the little lone brown tree - very atmospheric
and these -

which are local photos (always welcome and interesting) with a diamond glaze, and I would like to hear more about that from her... do you dip it or paint it on?
and these

I am a big tree climber and I cant tell you how much i want to climb that last one!!!!
thank you so much, envirocraft. they are all wonderful.

530  Re: Birds Birds Birds r2 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by blupaisan on: June 02, 2010 10:53:31 AM

Helloo, my name is Lillie and i am here to show off all the wonderful goodies that blupaisan opened up from teag today!!  Of course, there is me in all my cuteness, and there is the rest of my flock up in the tree with our little nest -

We all have clothespins on us, so we keep messages and things attached to us because blupaisan is a bit of a space case and desperately needs a little place to keep important pieces of information and lists and things.
Next, you get to look at me again,

while I rush off to get this awesome handcarved and painted box!

It has hinges and a magnet seal. There are going to be hair ties in it because hair ties get lost all over the house and create great frustration around here - I have seen it already.
Now, there were four other birdies traveling with me over the miles from Florida to Vermont, and now they are stuck to the fridge, but here they are as they came out of their box -

yes, they are very pretty, and also very useful, but  please do not forget how charming I am in my basic simplicity.
I have that certain look in the eye, n'est-ce-pas?
Finally, and a tear comes to my eye when she says it, but blupaisan says this is her favorite, is a zip pouch owl whom I will call Uppity because he thinks he's all that.

You should have heard blupaisan squeeee when she saw him.  ***sigh*** he looks just like a wisty dude from some list she always talks about...  and the back of him is "just stunning" as she puts it.

He will be put to use for special travel times.  Whereas I WILL BE PUT TO USE EACH AND EVERY DAY, AND THAT PROLLY SHOWS THAT I AM ULTIMATELY MORE IMPORTANT IN THE LONG RUN.
blupaisan says thank you to teag and is most impressed with her skills, of which there certainly is a wide variety, including this precious card!
