Thank you both so much for your suggestions Cheesy I am waiting til after Christmas (busy busy!!) to decide which direction to take with these quilts and to start looking for fabric. I've looked at both your suggestions and like both types.... decisions, decisions! I will definitely post back once I've made up my mind and started on one of the quilts Smiley

your quilt looks wonderful! I have yet to attempt a quilt, but when I do I'd like to hand quilt it, as I think it gives it that extra little touch Smiley
16  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / quilt pattern needed on: December 19, 2010 12:09:15 AM
Hi everyone,
I have never made a quilt before and would like to make one for each of my 3 daughters. They are all very young at the moment, and I'd like the quilts to last for a long time and not date (as in be too babyish for a teenager etc). Does anyone know of a simple, but nice, pattern that would be suitable? I'm planning on making them all in a single bed size. Thanks in advance!! Smiley
17  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: One Size Cloth Diapers! Image Heavy! on: December 15, 2010 04:36:06 PM
Wow, those look really well made and just like ones you buy in the shops! I'd definitely be keen to purchase the pattern off you if/when you start selling it Smiley I'm due for baby number 3 in April and would love to cloth diaper this time to cut back on costs.
