This rocks!  Cheesy It's a good idea, and you did an amazing job!
Personally I like the shirt under the vest, but that's just my opinion.  Tongue
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Lovely wristlet clutch on: June 12, 2009 01:11:39 PM
I made this tiny little bag because I was sick of carrying my huge purse everywhere!  Tongue  It nicely fits my cellphone, chapstick, and my Zune.^^
Sorry if the pictures are a little blurry. Roll Eyes

This is a close up of the little embroidered corner and the cute blue buttons I used.

Here's the whole thing, closed. I left the edges of the wrist strap raw because I thought it looked nifty.

Here is the flap thing open. I did the button holes by hand. I'm terrified of my bttonhole foot on my sewing machine. Sad

This one is really blurry sorry, but I just wanted to show the inside pattern. It was on old scarf that I got used somewhere. It had a tiny stain on one corner, so I couldn't wear it.

Anyways, I hope you like it! Comments and criticism welcome!  Grin

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A swallow and a mermaid! on: January 29, 2009 08:42:04 PM
Ok, this is my first post here in the jewelery section, and it's also my first slow steps into the jewelry making DIY. Please be gentle!

I made this for under two dollars. All of it was on clearence at Jo-Anns. I do love it, but I'm going to be selling this piece I think.

I made this one awhile ago. I loved this charm when I spied in Michaels.

Comments are welcome!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cute lolita-ish mini skirt and the "ARE YOU SUFFERING?" Pin on: January 25, 2009 10:50:13 AM
I know it's not lolita. O.O It was inspired more or less by the style itself, which I'm so in love with^^
Thank you though for your comments! ^^

THis is an amazing peice! I love it! And the fact that it was amde for an Emilie Autumn show makes it more amazing. She's my favorite artist! I cannot wait until she comes around my way! Again, it's lovely!

Ok, so I fell in love with the lolita style, and I'd like to make more complete outfits... Eventually. But for now, I'm molding the style the ways I like it most, so I made this skirt that was lolita inspired.

It's poofy kinda by itself, so I love it.

The bit of red is a pin that I made.

It says "Are You Suffering? EA The Asylm." Sorry it's blurry!
If you know Emilie Autumn, then you know the phrase. If you don't know her, check her out, she amazing.

The letters are hand embroidered. ^^ My first attempt. Um, so ugly green felt is beneath it to add support. With a saftey pin, to attatch it to whatever. ^^
Thanks for lookin. Wink
