I got my package from Ffrogg and MAN am I thrilled!  Boy oh boy did she ever outdo herself!  The time and work that went into this stuff is amazing and I can't stop looking at it all!  Now for the pics in no particular order, here is my wonderful lootz!


First there was a beautiful card outlining all the goodies in the box with dragonflies on it.  I know I didn't tell you this but dragonflies are one of my favorite critters!


A book of mini motifs from my wists, thank you so much, I have looked for this for ages!


A healing candle for me and my husband, can't wait to fire this up and start the healing!  It sure smells wonderful!


A pair of fingerless gloves from my wists.  No matter what I did I couldn't get the color to show up right, but they are gorgeous!  Olive green and oh so soft!  I always had problems with my hands getting stiff in the winter and it makes it very hard to work with regular gloves on, so these will be very helpful!


A gorgeous greenman plaque that is going straight into my showcase!  It's HUGE!  I can't believe how much clay you use in this thing!  He will guard my house well!  It is so cool!


10 FABU pot holders that her wonderful mom made for me!  These are so cool and so needed!  I killed my last potholder a while ago and I am so happy to get these!  I love the colors!  Props to your mother, she has mad skillz!


A pair of jolly little wizards made to sit on the edge of a flowerpot!  They are already in their new home guarding my favorite plants!  The green one is named Harold, and the purple one is named Maud!  Very suiting names!


An adorable amigurumi skull/shrunken head!  How cool is that?!  I think there's going to be a custody battle when my husband gets home!  I think I will name him Chubs!


A stellar table runner/altar cloth with elemental symbols hand stitched on each corresponding panel!  This is so well made I am jealous of your stitch work!  Beautiful clouds on the reverse side, colorful fabric for the different elements, a work of art!  I have to get better pics of the symbols tonight!


A very cool huge spiky dodecahedron all hand made, way neater than I could ever crochet!  How do you get those stitches so tight?  She says in her note that it is perfect for chucking it at the hubby or kid when they get out of line, rofl!


3 very cool light switch plates!  I adore these!  I am going to put these to use right away!  The moon and stars really glow in the dark!


An extremely well made shawl in greens and browns, perfect for those chilly nights!  It's VERY long and wide and will be perfect this fall!  I can't wait to use it!  I may have to crank up the air conditioner to make it cool enough to wear it now!  Tonight I will spread it out and get a pic of the full thing and add it to this post.


I will be taking more pics later when I get a chance to spread it all out.  I have boxes of crafting stuff spread out all over the place and need to clean up first so you don't have to look at the junk spread around and the 40 pounds of cat hair on everything.  I will edit this post and add the additional pics to it.

Ffrogg, thank you so much, I am truly blessed to have made  a friend like you and will cherish my gifts for all time!  You are a gem and don't ever stop shining!  I love ya girl!

Ok, I had the uber weird weekend.  First my supplies I ordered arrived on sat but they were the WRONG supplies!  The person I purchased from on ebay sent me somebody elses package and sent mine to someone else (/facepalm).

THEN...my husband and I took our son to the Brookfield Zoo outside of Chicago and we saw THIS...



Some crackpot guy walking around with a freaking sex doll in a wheelchair dressed up like a real person.  He was reading brochures and pointing out stuff to her like she was alive.  (((shiver)))

Oh my god.  I was so stoked when my package came but I was completely overwhelmed when I opened it!

I opened the box and extracted a metric ton of paper towels (thanks btw, I ran out and was looking for some, LOL!)...and here's what I saw:



I slowly took each thing out and unwrapped it, squealing like a complete fool the whole time.  I am crazy about EVERYTHING!  Here's the breakdown:

An awesome drawing by Kelli's son (Thanks munchkin!  I love it!)  This is getting framed and hung with my other treasures where the whole world can see it!


A "Foror's Crate of Endless Resist Gear Storage", which is a 36 slot bag that I give my peeps on the server.  Very very cool indeed!


A "Chainlink Towel"  with Horde logo.  Righteous!  Something to wipe away the alliance blood and tears after a hard day of killin!


Awesome magnets!  The tag with them says "Gravity-defying Appliance Adornments"  HAHAHAHAHA


A needlefelting pen tool and 2 bags of trailmix!  In resealable bags (~snort~  like they'll ever need to be reclosed...nom nom nom nom).  I nommed one while posting all these pics, lol.  The pen tool is a much needed doogizzy.  I was trying to find one and bam there it is!


Uber awesome Horde etched tumblers!  LOVE THESE!!!!  None of that sissy etching gel here gals, these babies were hand etched with a dremel.  You have more patience than I, my dear.  And a much steadier hand!


Truer words were never spoken...This will get framed and hung over my hubby's desk.  He is the uber Troll Mage after all!


Sweet fleece hat with hand felted Horde logo!  I had this on the whole time I was poking through goodies, lol.  LOVE IT!


In a bag marked "FOR THE HERD"  (snicker...)  The cats have been sharking around me ever since I opened the box and the dog is drooling, lol!  A bone bandana for Zeus, our German Shepherd, and catnip for the other heathens!  I will get an action shot of the bandana on the dog when he comes back from his walk.


My ultimate favorite thing in the whole world!

The best felted voidwalker in the entire universe!  Complete with his own box and tag.  OMG this thing is magnificent!  He is going in a place of honor!  I flipped out when I saw this!  You are a Grand Master felter 400/400 for sure!


I wanna hug you!  You are the greatest!  I am gonna have to send you something special to say thank you for spoiling me!  I have had a blast with this swap and will be shoving these pics in everyone's face for years to come!  YOU ROCK!

Here's the action shot of Zeus and his awesome Horde bandana!  All ready to eat some Alliance noobs!

It's a real crappy pic, and for that I apologize, but I wanted to show you what happens when I don't have things to make, lol.  Boredom can be dangerous.  I actually love the color of my hair, hate the color of my bathtub.  My grout is GREEN.  Grrr.

Pardon the goofy angle and expression.  It's hard to take a pic of yourself when you can't see the screen.  Was trying to get an angle where the color really showed up.

I am in the World of Warcraft swap and my wonderful partner had sent me a starter kit for needle felting in a previous swap.  I decided to jump in with both feet and give it a whirl.  I only had one #40 fine needle and a handful of fluff and more spare time than should be allowed.  I hope you like my little creation, he's the first attempt with many more to come.  There is no skeleton or framework inside him at all, but the felting was done so tight that he is self supported and articulated with no fear of coming apart.  The spines in his back have small pieces of wire in them just to keep them rigid, but offer no structural support to the main body at all.




I sent him to my good friend Curiousfae (who is also the person that sent me the felting goodies).  She loved him and I thank her for showing me yet another form of art that I can spend my time creating!

If you want him to stand up properly, just get a piece of foam and stick straight pins through his feet and he'll stand like this



I placed my broken felting needle under the eaten head to hold it up, but that way he isn't laying down and looking goofy, lol.

Curiousfae and I also threw out the points system and just sorta winged it.  I completely blew the 4 points out, lol.  Here's a teaser!



There's still a few things not included in that teaser that aren't done yet, but they'll get finished this weekend without fail.  This was a real fun swap and I did a bunch of things that were completely new territory for me, so I hope I didn't botch them up too badly.
