481  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: world's comfiest prom dress (made of t-shirts) on: May 31, 2009 09:03:11 AM
That's fantastic! I'd never have thought of using tshirt material-then again, I have lumps and bumps and I'd be worried they'd be more prevalent. This is super cute and creative, and the red shades are a nice touch.

Maybe a pillowcase? I have pillowcase fabric that's real thin, but I'm not sure if that's the way it is or if that's because it's so old...
483  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Is pleather any more difficult to sew... on: May 30, 2009 08:32:20 PM
as opposed to cotton or anything else? I want to make a red pleather jacket but I've never sewn anything before and I'm wondering if there's anything I should watch out for.

I want this:

Aw man, that top is made for someone with way smaller boobs than I think I've ever had. I was born with d's it seems. Sad Cute clothes are always for the smaller girls, lol.
Then again, It'd probably cover my nipples if I wanted to be risque.

486  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Moose slippers way too big... on: November 12, 2008 01:41:00 PM
hey there. I have these moose slippers (not the slip on sort, the ones that go all the way around like a regular shoe) and I can't wear them properly because the size is way too big and my feet simply fall right out. I want to make the inside smaller, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Would I just stitch the heel of the slipper on on the inside, or should I take it apart and do something else?
Thanks in advance.

Your purses look so professional. I would never believe that was handmade.
