1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / starry night purse. on: July 22, 2006 12:36:37 PM
van gogh decided to redo starry night in neon colors so all the ravers could have more fun.
wtf i don't make sense.
basically i just used fabric markers on a canvas bag.

[the words on the straps are a quote by van gogh; "I am not an adventurer by choice but by fate"; it sounded deep and profound at the time.]

3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / computer graphics!?!? :) on: July 21, 2005 05:18:47 PM
i've been thinking about this for awhile, and decided to see if anyone else was interested. i can't say i'm a pro or anything, but i really enjoy making computer graphics, like wallpapers, animations, icons, etc. whether any other craftsters are into this, i don't know. but i think this would be a cool swap, because you just make the graphic(s) and email/message/or post them. i understand you could just make the graphics yourself, but it's pretty cool you'd have something new that you hadn't necessarily know/thought to do. would anyone else be interested in this? still, though, i don't know if this qualifies as a swap?!?!  Undecided

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Flip-flops on: July 12, 2005 07:09:41 PM
Can't say I've been brave enough to wear these out of the house, but they're pretty comfy.
It's from a project sheet from Michael's. I'm still learning how to crochet, so I got a lot of help with these from my grandma.

....grr.....the pic's not showing up right now....i'll have a new one up soon

I haven't decided what to do with these yet. I'm thinking a corduroy tote. I'll ponder....

The green's actually a lot brighter....it just didn't show up well for some reason.
Oh, and it's ear is part of a tie, slightly frayed!
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Lightning Bolt/Leopard Print Felt Wallet on: July 12, 2005 07:03:21 PM
I got the inspiration from http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=34013.0, but I thought I'd start a new topic since mine's quite a different style. Hope you all like it!

(ignore i got glue on the pink part.....i glued the pink lining in, and....i had a little accident...it's not visible now, but it was when i took the picture)

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / I Am Loved Earrings on: April 23, 2005 11:03:29 AM
My new earrings...

Anyway, these earrings are made like most other earrings.
1. Cut a piece of tiger tail wire to the length you want the earrings.
2. Loop the wire through the clasp in the back of the pin. You can also take out the clasp in the back if you'd rather make a hole in the pin.
3. Tie a knot with the wire on the pin.
4. Tie the pin/wire to the earring....I used one of the fish hook ones.
5. Ta-dah! You have gorgeous earrings now!
