581  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Intercourse Cross Section Cross Stitch (some might consider this ADULT content) on: August 22, 2008 07:34:26 PM
The way it's framed up it reminds me of a postage stamp. Wouldn't that make an awesome postage stamp? This is fun and it does make you look twice to see if you're really seeing what you think is there. (I looked twice and it was.  Grin)
582  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: 'Consume Less, Live More' embroidery on: August 22, 2008 07:27:49 PM
I love the sentiment and the variety of stitiches. This looks great. And the white frame gives it a nice, tidy look. Where will you hang this?
583  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Hand embroidered sock monkey! on: August 22, 2008 07:17:41 PM
Sock monkey! Sock monkey! I love sock monkeys! And he's green and he's got a tattoo. This is absolutely the coolest sock monkey ever!

585  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Breakfast at Tiffany's Audrey Hepburn stitchalong...x stitch pattern on: August 20, 2008 05:39:12 PM
Might look nice with a black background and using a "tiffany blue" thread for the entire piece.

Man, I wish I'd seen your post before I started mine. lol
586  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Bad Tasting Coffee - Cross-Stitch on: August 16, 2008 09:16:53 PM
I'm not a coffee drinker either so all coffee tastes like poo to me.  Grin This is very cute. I like the design.
587  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Under the Sea Embroidery on: August 16, 2008 09:11:58 PM
If that octopus makes the top of that rock, the guy in the boat is going to have quite a surprise. lol I love this, it's whimsical and the blue napkin makes a nice background. The stripey fish is the perfect touch.
588  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Ami Discworld! on: August 16, 2008 08:02:01 PM
This is beyond awesome! I've never seen anything like it. My hat is off to you big time. I haven't read the Pratchett books but I'm familiar with the concept. This is just superlative on every level.
589  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Result of my Blackwork addiction on: August 16, 2008 07:49:49 AM
I love the look of blackwork but I've never tried it myself. I have my eye on a pattern I want to try though. This is beautiful. So intricate.
590  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Not modest, fantastic! on: August 16, 2008 07:47:13 AM
I think he'll love it. This is... fantastic! What a cute little one. Out of the mouths of babes, huh? I love the border stitiching, it's unique and fits with the Elephant perfectly. All the elements come together so well here. *thumbs up*
