561  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Feedback please! on: January 28, 2009 07:16:27 PM
I'll see what I can do!

Cool! I'll keep checking.

And while you're rummaging through your comic book stashes...how's about The Crow, Sin City or The Sandman?

Sandman would be good. That's a character you don't see around much on anything.

I would totally buy something like this. I have a brother who is into comics and I haven't been able to find any good patterns of comic characters to do for him. I don't suppose you have a Spider Man anywhere up your sleeve do you? (that one would be for me  Smiley)

Nice freehanding, and the beads are a pretty touch. I like the branch broken into the three hoops too, that was a good idea for this piece.

Aw, I love those little birds. The stitching is the star of the show on this piece. I'm glad you posted it here.

I can see why your little girl was excited about this, kitty is as cute as can be in that big yellow hat. Yellow is my favorite color too. Your little girl has good taste.  Smiley

I'm especially fond of nautical motifs so I really like these. The Harry Potter one is a nice bonus. I like the perspective in that picture. You brought it out well with your stitiching.

The embroidery is stunning. And if you're new to sewing I never would have guessed. This is a beautiful piece all around.
568  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Thinking of you blackwork - maturish on: January 26, 2009 07:14:04 PM
This made me laugh like crazy. The blackwork is an intersting choice, it really works with this in a weird, wonderful way.

I love the stitiching you did and the poem is a sentiment I share. Very funny and very nicely done.

Kenners, that package is awesome! You are so lucky to have that shop in your building. I agree, I'd be much poorer if I had that opportunity.

I love the fabric you used on the totebag, purse, and bookmark. The white rabbit jewelry is great too. So much wonderful Alice stuff!
