I've been meaning to comment on this one. I love the planets, and Pluto looks like a dog's paw. Coincidence? lol This looks great, colors, stitiching and all.

I love birds and this one is a cutie!

Wow, that really looks three dimensional. I like the texture the differnt colors and stitiches give this piece.

That's the website for the magazine the pattern originates from, so that'd be the most likely place to find it. Otherwise, I have no idea how to help you =/

I have yet to find a way to get any back issues off the site. They list them but don't seem to sell them. I get the issues at my local Barnes and Noble, so you might check there and see if the last months mag is still on the shelves.

The David Tennant pattern is free off the site though, you can just download the pdf file. You might want that pattern as well, QuiltersBlock, if you know some Dr. Who fans. I have friends who like the show as well (I'm not a big fan either) and I figured it would come in handy for birthdays and such.

I love these little kits. Everything is just right there. But you're right about the thread quality often being poor. French knots are the bane of my existence, but yours look very nice.

Oh, this is cute! I love how you changed his paper plane into a book. It looks great on that tote.

I love the design and the sentiment. This will dress up your daughter's room and the message will stay with her.

Kiwis are adorable. This design is adorable. But the kiwi looks like a baby chick.

Love its red tennis shoes though.  Smiley

Mellifluous, my sewing skills leave something to be desired, and I have a couple of these little zippered pouches that came with various totes I purchased last summer. Feels good to find a use for the zippered pouches in a way that allows me to personalize them!

Well, it looks very artistic to my eyes. lol The stitiching and colors all come together in a very pleasing way here. This is such a good idea for those little pouches that are so plain-looking on their own. The zipper pull charm really makes a neat accent too. I know I would be thrilled to receive a gift like this. Your friend is very lucky.  Smiley
